Does anyone have any recommendations as to which wireless carplay adapter would work best with a 2022 GLS? I’ve seen a number online that appear to get mixed reviews and would appreciate if anyone can report their experience with them?
I purchased the Carlinkit 3.0 dongle. I haven't been able to get it to work with my 2021 GLS580. I've tried all the suggested steps, including firmware updates, suggested in the help guides on the Carlinkit website. No luck.
MBUX will initially recognize the unit as CarPlay compatible, but fails to start CarPlay. I get a message say something to the effect of CarPlay was unable to start. I'm all ears if others have had better luck with Carlinkit....
I've tried with Carplay2Air. my experience was very good.
my main issue with using these adapters is that I have 4 drivers in the house with iPhones. these adapters max out with 2 paired phones.....
I really wish MB can update the MBUX software to make the native CarPlay wireless....

Can you connect the Carplay2Air to the USB inside the center console storage? as I don’t really want the adapter hanging around on the wireless charger. Where do you need place it?
