I am really happy with the results!
Mojave silver with Xpel stealth makes is unique and not plastic looking at all.
I bought the original AMG63 rear facia from Germany, don’t like the roundish rear of the 580. It’s not available from factory, but I recommend the change because it looks more right with it in my opinion.
Only needs a minor cut out in the exhaust tip to fit with the original exhaust.

I did some quick measurements from a GLS63 before making the change I thought it would line up but upon install on my GLS580 we had to trim the ends of the tailpipes. After that the new direction of the exhaust started to melt the facia so I had to redirect the tailpipes to go through the new AMG facia directly. Fortunately I noticed the problem before any external visible damage occurred.

I haven’t seen any damage but now I need to look closer…
It’s all metal close to the exhaust, what should I look for around it?

My tailpipe , just one of the two when trimmed, was just a bit over to the outside of the opening. When that secondary exhaust valve opened (larger pipe) it didn't 100% exit directly out the new opening. I thought such a small overlap would not matter. After driving for some time with the secondary valve opening a lot when towing the plastic tabs that hold the metal trim above the tailpipe started to melt. I had the tailpipes cut and moved inward right away after that and the problem was solved. There is only visible damage behind the bumper and fortunate that you cannot see any damage on the outside. Your tailpipes look to be better aligned in this picture than mine were before I had them moved inward so you may be OK. I guess the GLS63 AMG exhaust aligns better with this rear facia.

What GLS do you have?
I have the 580 with AMG package.
I have looked at some GLS63 and the exhaust looks pretty similar to me, just a bit wider exhaust.
Im planning to change the exhaust system from the cat and back. Now I maybe need to do it sooner to not melt the plastic…

I have the GLS580. I am not familiar with an AMG package for my 2020 model here in Canada but the GLS 580 comes with many options standard here. I have changed the front grille and the rear facia to the AMG Panamericana.

Here in EU the AMG packages isn’t standard like the states.
So probably I have the same issue as you had. Will have to check with Mercedes services what they think mean while.
thx for the heads up!

All factory parts from the dealer. approx. $4000 Canadian dollars plus $450 install plus $150 to modify the exhaust tips at a muffler shop to exit properly through the facia. I think you need the AMG appearance like what is on my GLS580 - I don't know if the same works for a 450. also different parts without trailer hitch - mine has the tow package with hitch.
