Mercedes me connect doesnt support

Hi.I want to add my car to mercedes me connect. When I write my VIN, it says it is active succesfully. But I cant use it.After that,I write to the site(not to the app), and it says:
Unfortunately, your vehicle does not support Mercedes me connect. Your access to certain Mercedes me functions is therefore restricted.

My Vehicle is GLS 450 2021.I live in Azerbaijan. Who can help me?
Thanks!

Azerbaijan is not on the list of countries where Mercedes me is supported. It's directing you to the German site as I can see, that's because it doesn't work in your country. Mercedes me is not available in every country.

Here's the list of countries where Mercedes me is available:

So you live in Azerbaijan, but your car is registered in Germany? Where did you buy the car?

I'm not asking where it's built. I'm asking for what region was it built. Was the car sold in Germany or sold in Azerbaijan? Cars are equipped and coded depending on which region their sold in.

In principal, the Mercedes me services have to be activated by the dealership who sold the car. So if you bought this car in Germany, then the German dealership should have activated it for you and as long as you create a German Mercedes me account and you live in Germany, it should work. However, once you drive the car to Azerbaijan it won't work anymore.

Ok, so your car is coded for the Azerbaijan region. It doesn't matter that it was built in Germany. The spec of the car is for Azerbaijan, not Germany. My car was built in Germany, too, but I bought it in the USA, so it's a US spec car, not a German spec car.

So, back to my original point, because your car was built for Azerbaijan spec and Mercedes me is not available in your country, your car doesn't support it. It's likely completely missing the required HERMES module.

In addition to this, even if it had Hermes, it still wouldn't connect to any cellular networks within Azerbaijan because Mercedes wouldn't have any cellular data agreements with any of the Azerbaijan cell service companies.

Yes, it's built for your region. Each region has its specific specifications, and as said above Mercedes doesn't appear to have cellular agreements with any mobile phone carriers in Azerbaijan. At this point it's probably best if you talk to somebody at Autostar Cacusasus. They can explain the situation to you. It's frankly a bit difficult to understand your English, and I'm not sure you fully understand what I've been trying to explain to you.

Unhelpful to this conversation, but I thought all GLS were built in Alabama?

That's actually correct. GLE and GLS are built in Alabama, USA. While deciphering his posts that didn't even occur to me, but yes, his car didn't even originate in Germany. It was imported from the USA. They don't build these in Germany.
