Real difference b/w '23 GLS 580 and '24 GLS 580

Can anyone give me real world examples of non-cosmetic differences between the '23 and '24 GLS 580? There is a '23 on the lot near me and I can't seem to get a commitment for an allocation date for a '24. So, I am in a bit of a quandry. I can see the physical differences but I don't know anything about other things that would help me decide which way to go (i.e., Infotainment system, tweeks to engine, etc.). I'm a RR guy with no MB experience so I would appreciate any guidance and/or advice on whether there is enough of a positive difference between the two to deal with the uncertainty of an allocation date or take the bird that is in hand.

1) '23 has wired CP/AA while the new '24 has wireless.
2) '24 has a new capacitive touch steering wheel. I didn't wait for the '24 because I could see accidental "swipes" getting old real fast!
3) Not sure if Driving Assistance Package was standard for 580 but it is now standard for all '24 models (i.e. possible to find cheaper '23 models w/o the package).
4) MBUX 2.0 vs 1.0
5) Burmester audio system can now process Dolby Atmos

I think these are the most obvious and important!

Nice summary. Just adding off-road display includes Transparent hood/bonnet camera. Helpful for off-road and parking stalls.

2024 GLS450
2024 has full-screen CarPlay.
2023 has CarPlay at reduced size, using only 2/3 the screen.

Now that CP is full-screen, where does the driver and passenger read the cabin temperature?

It just pops up in the same place when you change it. And for some bizarre reason they've added a useless decimal point behind the temp.

Also its still not 100% full screen. There is a small strip on the left where the home button is.
