Malfunction: Do not exceed 50 mph

- For the first 1,000 miles, do not exceed 85 mph.
- After 2,000 miles, do not exceed 50 mph.
My vehicle now has 2,000 miles on it and both the yellow suspension light (I have E-ABC) and the engine light have been randomly coming on and going off for the last week.
I am currently obligated to transport 6 people on a regular basis. This is a key reason that I selected the GLS.
However, the dealership has no 3-row loaners of any kind. Googling this issue seems to indicate that it takes a minimum of 3 days to diagnosis and repair this issue, if the parts are on hand.
I reached out to the Sales Manager, who determines what goes in the loaner lot, this week and after many short and unhelpful exchanges with my service rep, it was nice to see that he was working to resolve this in the near future.
However, back to the current situation where service does not any loaners available for two weeks. I asked multiple times this week if I could bring it in earlier without a loaner to at least get a diagnosis, and each time I received no response at all.
Needless-to-say, 3 months in and I am struggling to feel like a customer that the dealership wants keep doing business with. I have two MB vehicles that need service and no other options within an hour drive. I also purchased some of the extended/prepaid service options that somewhat keep me stuck in this relationship. Hopefully, I can find a way to improve this over time...
On the topic of E-ABC, have people run into these problems and found them to be a one-time fix? Or do you get this message and need E-ABC tweaks and fixes every year?
Is the suspension still working in the various drive modes?

Then and since then, I have not noticed any actual change or issue with the vehicle performance or the suspension.

I appreciate your sense of humor during this dilemma.
On occasion, I've seen a dealership hit the rental car agencies when they were short of loaners.
Hang in there!

I know that the tint and PPF were applied by outside contractors.

Today, they isolated the issue to a faulty left front acceleration sensor. They didn't have one in-stock, but one should be here tomorrow. They say that it will fix both the yellow check engine and yellow suspension lights. 🤞🏼

This morning, I came to pick it up and first thing when I started it: Malfunction: Do not exceed 50 mph...
I calmly walked back in to my service advisor and said that the same error is still there. She said that the tech took extra time to ensure that it was resolved. Obviously, neither of us understood why the tech would say it is resolved when the error shows up the first time you start it.
So it's back in the shop and they said that they won't have any update for me until tomorrow morning. 🤦

I know you can usually get a prorated refund on an extended warranty but I'm not sure about prepaid service agreements.

The fault code they found was C154609.

I have seen a number of reports in the past of pinched wires causing all kinds of random and hard to diagnose issues. So hopefully, this fixes it for good.

I'll bet you're good to go.
