CPO 2020 GLS450 Buying Advice
I am looking at a nicely equipped CPO 2020 GLS450 with very low miles, just under 16,000. Got oil changes roughly every 5,000 miles at MB dealer. Is there any reliability things I need to look out for? Good or bad experiences will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

In November 2022 I bought a CPO 2020 (MSRP 105k) with 20k miles. I’ve been enjoying the vehicle and have only had a couple of software issues and a heated/cooled cupholder issue since purchase, although there are two open recalls on the vehicle I need to deal with.
Make sure you get the CPO Inspection and Certification Report. Any issues should be fixed in the CPO process. You might consider the two-year extended CPO warranty. I paid $2,900 for mine (dealer initially wanted $4,500).
Good luck.

Hey @ksk0714 my information is below for Fidelity extended warranty information if you're interested in coverage beyond the 2-3 CPO length. By purchasing your total desired extended warranty coverage now while mileage is low, you can save thousands vs. kicking the can down the road until your CPO is set to expire. For Fidelity extended warranty coverage lengths, deducible options, pricing and an example contract that explains coverage for your GLS 450, you can reach me at the contact information below.

The only issue I have with fidelity is that the term begins upon purchase, so in this case it would be wise to price out the difference of buying now and have it run concurrently with your CPO warranty vs at the end of the CPO warranty but account for both mileage increase and the yearly increase in the fidelity premium vs at the end of the year before the annual fidelity increase and an estimate of 6 months of mileage. Other than that tidbit, Trenton @ Highline is an extremely reputable fidelity dealer and fidelity seems to be one of the better aftermarket warranties.

I have had a good experience with Fidelity. I bought a Fidelity Platinum warranty from a MB dealer for my out of warranty 2015 S550 purchased in a private transaction, but had less than 7,000 miles. I can confirm that current mileage is a large part of the pricing. I have used the warranty once, with the dealer filing the claim. I suspect, but don't know for sure, that if you did not buy the warranty from the servicing dealer, you may have to pay and file your own claim.
Also keep in mind that if you sell the vehicle in a private transaction you can transfer the warranty, or if traded, you can get a prorated refund.
