E - ACTIVE BODY CONTROL Package (DC7)
I have a CPO 2020 GLS 450. It has E-ABC, upgraded Burmester, and even Sport brakes that was not an offered option. A forum member believed that the original owner was a MB executive or an executive of a MB supplier. With all the options (MSRP 106k), it has the standard (at the time) 19” wheels.
I was looking at the 2020 GLS DOG and found this:
E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL Package (DC7PKG)
Option Price: $6,500
Optional on all GLS models
Requires tire diameter 790 (wheel size 20” or larger)
There are times when the E-ABC works great, but there are other times on rough roads or areas with multiple pothole patches when I don’t feel any benefit. So now I am wondering if the 19" wheel size is affecting the performance of the function?

But it doesn't correct for one-side-only things like a pothole.
AMG ride control, ARC, corrects for potholes or other single-sided stuff.

"Available E‑ACTIVE BODY CONTROL is so advanced its road-scanning camera can prepare for a bump or dip before you reach it."
"By utilizing a Road Surface Scan and curveinclination function, an extraordinary level of comfort is made possible. Hydropneumatics generate dynamic forces that overlay the air suspension forces and actively support and dampen the vehicle body when driving on uneven roads."
