Transmission Valve Body Replacement
With no trouble codes, error lights or noticeable driving issues, it seems a bit extreme to replace it at this point. I'm thinking I want to just perform the usual trans fluid and filter change as planned at this point.

Or it could get worse and damage other internals.
I'd probably get a fluid change and tow oil samples, one for me to examine and look for glitter, but mostly to get an analysis.

Oh good lord, the "AI Mercedes Intelligent Predictive Repair tool"??? Haha, now that is funny!!!! That has to be right up there with the turn signal blinker fluid refill.
No. Just. No....
Have the fluid service done and document everything for your files. The service will require a new pan (the filter is permanently part of the plastic pan), and go from there.
Or better yet, find the trusted indi that works on Mercedes in your area and have them do it. It's not a hard process (in human terms). But likely will destroy your flux capacitor in IRP terms...
MB transmissions may not be the smoothest on the planet, but they are known to be quite robust, certainly capable of 60k miles trouble free. As with all cars (especially German), it's all about the maintenance. Have the fluid replaced (you're within the mileage/age range) and don't worry about it.
Mercedes AI Intelligent Predictive Repair tool. Jesus.....how stupid does MB really think we are? I predict at some point in the future, your entire car will fail and be returned to the earth from which it came, by 2060... Might want to replace it now just in case. Meet Steve, our "sales associate of the month" to help you.

True, if warranty is covering it, then why not get a new valve body on MB's dime! That, I do agree with, assuming the dealership can do the work correctly the first time.
However, if not on MB's dime, then I would not worry about what some crystal ball gadget predicts for the future. Doesn't make sense (to me) to fix what isn't broken.
