so what

im just curious why so many of you guys talk about "killing" others on the road. I hardly ever see people racing, or very agressive drivers on the road, and am amazed when i read post about how you meet people and race like children.

Does it boost your ego or something, i mean who reallly gives a damn if you can drive faster then someone else, it's so stupid. And im guessing you guys are like what, in your 40s atleast, and you go around like your tuff **** gonna teach some young puck a lesson by driving faster then him. Kinda immature when you think about it. I just would really like to know what is the thrill? Is it a hobby or something of you guys. To see who can press harder on the gas petal and who can drive their car harder. Its so strange to me

Im just being friendly and wanting to understand why people race and brag about it, so don't flame me on the subject, enlighten me on it!

Racing is fun because real men are competitive. It’s what separates the men from the boys( or girls). It’s like doing battle using your whole self. Example, if you are stupid and all you can afford is a slow S__t box, you are not on top of the game. But, if you are smart, competitive, aggressive, you can afford a really great car and race like kings. Or, trample all the stupid losers who make no money. See, way back in the day, lets say back when we were like Indians or nomads, we would come across another tribe and beat the krap out of them and take their women. This only worked if you were bigger, stronger, smarter or faster. We can’t help it, its called testosterone. Maybe you should go to the gym or take your ***** back from your girlfriend or wife and just go race somebody. Try it tonight on your skateboard, you might like it.

no, its a testosterone fest that sometimes ends in someone getting hurt, stupid people street race. take it to the track. the REAL men know how to drive cars at the limits around a road course, not just in a straight line while endangering others in the process. in a modern world, only meatheads try to display their strength by driving recklessly in a car. big stupid asses who could not drive around a corner fast if their life depended on it.

The first question that comes to my mind is:

If you hate racing and race stories so much, why are you reading the "kill stories" section of MBWorld? Because you hate street racing so much?? Oh, yeah, and I surf the gay **** sites because I am so hetero.

where is the abuse? Cars were meant to be driven. Whats the point of having a performance car and you never do anything interesting in it. Are you one of those guy who cruises in their ferrari, or high end vehicle and when people ask you to rev or anything you give them a blank stare as if they are *******s?

Also Jon your suit is at the cleaners, the last flame war charred it pretty well, i had to send it out.

where the abuse are you kidding.. well ya i guess u can say im that kind of person. i don't get a rush of adrenaline or thrill by pressing the brakes and the gas at the same time..

and im not surfing kill stories becuse i hate them, ive been at this community for a month, and was checking out each section and this one stood out to me.

I was thinking that well ya like how to car drives and performs, but not going online and stating "oh i raced this young punk and thought him a lesson, i OWNED that b!atch, what he stupid to be messin with me" ........ how lame you OWNED him... wow ....

This is abuse, Doing burnouts and driving the car to its limits is not. Its designed to work at that level.

pimplecharly and littleB iiaaach.

Go away, or better yet, go to the" liberal communist gayboy.org forum." You can talk about how some old lady cut in line in front of you at the store and how mad it made you. Then you could chat with members of that forum on how you would like to make a law against cutting in line. Then maybe you could talk about making a law limiting all cars to 55 mph and 50 HP. Then everybody would be safe. But wait, there’s more. How about making all road use illegal and forcing everybody to use public transportation. Then everybody would be safe.......

Perfect example of how immature some are... only here you would see people call you gay, troll, annoying, and not have a higher level conversation. If my post bothers you, by all means don't respond, all you did was prove your own intelligence, or lack thereof.

I supposed the author is the only one who has NEVER repeat NEVER pushed the loud pedal down to get in front of the jerk not wanting to let you on the freeway? Never gassed it to be the guy IN FRONT when merging?

If all you wanted to do was to understand why we get a thrill out of being the fasting thing on the freeway or beat the guy in the M3, why did you ask you question in such a derogatory way? I guess you have a hard time with grammer too as you can't even spell correctly! Get a life and drive as fast as you can on the freeway and see the thrill you get. Why do you think so many here enjoy their cars? They're fine tuned speed machine better than 90% of what's out there on the road, capable of things average drivers in average cars dream of! Come to think of it you're probably one of those average people!
