i wanted to see what happens. My guess is the Murcelego wins with the gallardo 2nd and the NSX-R in 3rd.

cant believe the NSX is so nimble

that video is waaaay old. Murci is 1st, Gallardo 2nd, NSX 3rd, Porche 4th, CSL 5th, Ferrari 6th (would not have happened with an italian driving).

What is the technique where the nsx driver clutches in the corner holds the brake and pumps the gas, and why does he do it? Sorry I'm a newb.

Heal/toe maneuver. Downshift while braking.

Thanks....I'm a complete noob because I've never driven a manual.....my family has just never owned one. So why does he pump the gas at the same time? Thanks for your help.

he hits the gas to blip up the RPMs so that when he downshifts the change is smooth. When you go from say 4K RMPs in 4th gear down to 3rd gear, youll be at much higher rpms, and it will create an engine brake effect (engine RPMS slower than what your wheels and transmission are doing, so they have to equalize, slowing the car down). You blip so that you can get the RPMS up to say 7K in 3rd gear, which will feel the same as 4K in 4th. Otherwise you'll have some engine braking kick in and it will transfer weight to the front of the car too much and make you oversteer.
