CBR 600 F2 taken down by E55
Was on my way home in decent traffic on a 65mph road. Came up to a 8 way tool booth and shot out like a cannon and zipped by 2 bikes and a 911 Carrerra.
About 1 mile later the 2 bikes were on my bumber like only 6 feet back at 75mph.
A hole opened up and I dropped into 3rd and cracked it and put about 2-3 cars distance on both bikes. One of the bikes was not the typical superbike but could have been a 750cc.
Later we got side by side (me and CBR F2) and we both cracked it from 70 mph and at 115 I had pulled enough on him to safely move infront of him in HIS lane because of upcoming traffic in my lane.
He lost and was pissed. He began to weave in and out of traffic like a mad man, in between cars and lost me but that didn't matter.
Bikes are built for speed, must be hard when a family sedan rocks you.

You have a nicely modified E55 BTW. I was really wanting one of those but then the CLS came out. Also I live at the beach and only have a small garage. No way I am parking a new CLS on the street.

Socal Benz.... thanks man. Apples and oranges. I could say that my APU++ Poopra would put a wicked super retarded hurt on your bike. Lets keep it real, it is what it is. A car won a bike lost. End of story.

sure, whatcha got? If you are ever in the DC area we race at the illegals for $$ at lilly pons. Any thing goes there. Sometimes you get to see 7 sec 200mph cars, and at other times a slow 11 sec benz like mine.

I know it's difficult to explain to people who don't ride and cannot relate to the excitement, but at the end of the day, a modded E55 is still a fat car with a slush box. Pretty fast but hardly fun.
But, congrats though you smoked a 10+ year old bike

e55 baller, nice kill. It's always fun to take out bikes in your E, no matter how old they are!
Collectively, we all know that bikes should beat cars... he is just putting up that he beat a bike, even if it was 10+ years old. Which noone actually knows, for certain, the year of the bike.
I mean, if you really want to get complicated, it could have been repainted with fake decals, and noone else on the board would know besides e55 baller, so get off of his back already.
By the way, I took out a bike with my M5 a few weeks back. Even if I did put up what kind it was, someone so aptly named "Honduh guy" would probably post up something about how the bike was old, the rider sucked, or my story was total
. If you have an opinion on something, post it up, but also give credit where it's due. Get over yourself and your crotch rocket if you have one. And for socalbenz55, I HOPE you could lay a hurting on most with your R1. It's an R1.
Again,
Nice Kill e55 baller.

Also, I do ride (cbr1100xx) and come across two main types of drivers, the class-act types who are not sore loosers (and often put up a good fight) and the ***** types who can't drive if their life depended on it, dumped an assload of money in their car, think that made them fast and have an attitude about it. The latter is the most entertaining type. Ironically, M5 drivers are usually more the thumbs up type (came accross a couple of E39 and both guys had no problems with them ending up behind).
Bottom line, the rider should have known better and got his *** handed to him but at the same time, a souped-up E55 should be expected to do that and that hardly forces respect. Hell, it is an expensive car with tons of torque and power, you'd expect it to be decently fast and to be in 600cc territory. Want a cookie? Show more skills and less attitude... I know, what a concept
![wall](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/banghead.gif)
OK I am *****ing, but this place wouldn't be half as entertaining if some people didn't have that attitude.

The point I was making is that none of us know for sure EXACTLY what type of bike that it was, except for e55 baller... not that it makes much difference now seeing as how far off the posts have gone, me included.
Summation of what happens:
Normally: bikes > cars.
This case: car < bike.
And for the record IMHO, anyone who buys a car and doesn't know what it's capable of and can't even control it themselves, shouldn't be buying that car. I just laugh at all of the drivers of high end cars that I see here in sunny FL that can't even drive the "supercars" that they buy.
Like, for instance, this one red Z06 here that I saw again today. Sorry for the continuous talking, I have just been bored lately... So this guy has a red C6 Z06 with tinted windows that I have seen around. I met him about two weeks ago and he comes up and talks to me about the black Z06 that I was driving. He then proceeds to tell me all about how he has "things" done to his Z. So I ask and he points out that he has put two extra Z06 badges on the car. One on the front, one on the back.
Then he opens his trunk and what is there... two 12" W6 subs with amps and all. I quickly stop myself from laughing and end the conversation there. Come to find out, my friends over at Sound Advice here told me that this same guy took them for rides in it when he had all of the stuff installed. And I quote "The guy couldn't shift for the life of him."
Sorry for the continuous post, just thought I'd share one of the many examples I can think of when people can't drive the cars they buy.

1. wrong gear
2. slow bike
3. bad rider
Those are pretty standard whenever it comes to explaining a loss, especially for someone that wasn't even there.

See, I'll even quote myself: "Actually the rider being in the wrong gear will have more effect than the model itself. "
See, now you may actually get it.

Nice Kill....
I got smoked by a C55 and E55 today when I was on my way home from work in my wagon. Oh well. They both took off, and I only was able to pass em when they both stopped at 80mph, and I went to 90mph. Good times. (They were on their way to the track too.) And Ill admit it, my car is just a slug compared to a 500HP supercar. Oh well. I can still take down a bike or two.

Okay, well I'm done wasting posts answering to a person who can't even see what I was saying. But one thing has amazed me...
You are like my twin brother... you always have to get the last words in just to feel better about yourself. Have a good one.

'06 E55, '05 SLK55, a few others
Actually, the E55 will smoke a lot of newer bikes. I also ride a CBR1100XX (modded of course), and what makes bikes fast is their launch. My blown '02 E55 isn't much faster than the '06, but has pulled newer 600's from a 60 mph roll badly. Those wicked fast magazine times claimed for Hayabusa's GSXR's etc. are with a guy like Pee-Wee Gleason at the controls. I've never seen anyone in real life even approach those times. What is a 10 sec. magazine bike will be a 12 sec street run with a 200+ pound rider on it.

I agree.. and it is dangerous to launch a bike like the pros... Not an average joe on a motorcycle can accomplish... unless the dude is insane and gives a rat's *** about his life because life for him is speed, speed, and speed.
