HOLY **** GUYS! I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE ME ( WHICH I DONT FKEN CARE!) I have a picture of me hitting 150mph in the w126 picture thread. Anyways! Today i was taking the same road but this time the opposite way, which is slighly downhill compare to the other way which is a bit uphill... anyways! I slam on the throttle, i was holding it pin down for about 4-5 miles... 1/2 way thorugh my journey a biker is on my ***....we are neck and neck! my cars rpm is at 6300 rpm...nothing left! and the biker is right infront of my bonnet! we hit the breaks, slow down at the light and i asked him how fast did he hit...he said 170 mph !!!!!!!! holy ****!!!!! i'm fuken shocked!!!! So wheres that c 230 that wanted to race me ? no reply from that guy yet!!!!

I know nothing about the engine top speed potential of a 1980 500 Euro, so I will not comment.

However, I have driven many high performance cars from the Jimmy Carter era, and they were all terrifying after about 140. Either your baalllls are very big, or your brain is very small.

at 150mph... look how smooth my car is...it was tuned for the autobahm the chassis just sticks to the road the faster i go...thats me holding the camera...im known for having a shaky hand-but look how stable my hand is at those speeds... the car feels rock solid !

Bike speedos are notoriously inaccurate. My ZX-11 shows about 11% high according to my gps. That would make an indicated 170 about a real 150. Plus bikers are mostly liars when it comes to how fast they were going. I've had the ZX up to 166 on the gps, indicated was above 180. According to the mags the top speed is around 176.

I've done 165 on my bike, and I'm confident it wasn't an accurate 165.

its cool, but it was on a down hill, that doesnt really count, u might have gone faster in neutral, after accelerating to 150+

Never race a bike at those speeds and that close. If the guy hits a pothole, you'll be writting this in jail coz you killed someone. It'll then be a real kill story.

Hahaha SL Brabus haha yeah I'm pretty sure my speedmeter is correct ( i just dont want to argue with the non believers) My 3rd gear redlines exactly at the mph it should and in hwy-5 i was goin 145mph once and the radar that was placed on the hwy read 144mph...so i know my car is pretty accurate. I just dont want to argue. The uphill is slightly uphill 2-5 degrees same with down hill...not much you cant even tell but if you know where your going you know its tiny bit uphill.... And yeah right i wish i had a Brabus engine like you ! I envy you ! I tried looking for brabus parts for my car but **** that stuff is harder to get then anything in the world !
