Stock it should be very close, with a slight advantage to the Dodge.

Something like that, but it's also a lot heavier, so its horsepower advantage is overcome by its weight advantage, for the most part. Still, I believe they're trapping at 108 or so, which is a few mph faster than the C32s were trapping, but the ETs are so close that reaction time would be a bigger factor, by far....but at triple digit speeds, I'd think that the C32's more slippery shape would give it an edge.

Update: I checked, and Motor Trend recently tested a Charger SRT-8. They ran a 13.5 @ 106 1/4 mile, while when they tested the C32 some time back, they got a 13.24 @ 107...but fwiw, this is a bit quicker than other tests I've seen for the C32, while the Charger is a bit slower than, for example, the 300 SRT-8 has been tested...

So, bottom line is, it's a driver's race, although I still predict the C32 would pull at higher speeds thanks to its more-slippery shape and significantly smaller frontal area.

There was just an aftermarket SRT-8 (a 300, I think) featured in one of the mags, dropping something like 600 HP for not much $$$. I would be really tempted if I were in the market for a new car.

What about a C55 against a SRT8? In general I think a man probably get more *** driving a MBZ than a SRT8. My experience with Asian women in the past lead me to this conclusion.

Thank goodness I don't like asian women In my experience I only care about how I feel about the car, not what others think...

If your going to make a retard comment like that, get your engines right. The Cummins engine is in the Rams, and the F350s have powerstrokes.

I will make sure that, in the future, all of my retarded comments are factually accurate.

Mine, too (I happen to be married to one). However, I've also learned that Korean women in particular seem to dislike Caucasian men, no matter what they are driving. Not a racist statement - my close Korean female friend confirmed that it is a cultural taboo for some reason... :shrug

I ran one of thoes SRT-8 Chargers with My C55. the benz won by 3/4 length. I thought that the charger would be faster with that 425HP/425TQ Hemi.

You must be wrong. According to some very astute posters on this thread, the SRT-8 has apparently infinite amounts of torque, so the fact that it weighs two tons is irrelevant.

C55/SRT-8/C32 will be a crapshoot, with slight advantage to the SRT-8 (I feel like a parrot). The race will depend on the usual factors that favor one car or the other (temp, gas quality, gas amount, spare or no spare, passenger or no, quality of launch, state of tune). Blanket statements that one car will mash the other (when both are close in their power/weight ratios) prove only the ignorace of the declarant.

And if your going to use you're insurmountable wit to try to slam people, you might want to make sure you're contractions and possessives are correct.

Happened to run a 300C SRT8 last night. It was windy with temp. around 110 F. First run was from 30 MPH roll. I pulled away fairly easily up to 110MPH. He was quite a distance back. From Dig the result was a little better for him since he got better traction with his 20" Rims (He still lost though).

My modes are: KNN filters, rear cats & resonator deleted

yep, the 20's really add to the look of the car and detract from the performance. Especially stock 20's that come with the SRT8. If you run a smaller, light weight 18's from the Magnum/Charger you shave off almost half a second from 1/4 mile.

Also, depending on the production date of SRT8, he may not have the thermostat update and software update. With those the additional temp would not make that much of a difference.

Still a driver's race though. Thanks for sharing Cobraq8!
