Porsche Turbo Got Owned

I wouldn't get too arrogant driving an E55, it's an inferior car from a performance perspective to the Porsches. You'll see...

Assuming a competent driver, it would be close... an X50 would kill it.

My E55 is a travesty in handling... about all it does well is nice big burnouts and straight line pulls... A Cayenne Turbo will easily outhandle an E55. In fact, there is no doubt that the Cayenne Turbo S would probably whoop my E55 around a race track too. How SAD is that?
All MB had to do was give us a proper suspension with electronically adjustable shocks, instead they gave us some airbag bull**** that chollos use on their hoopties and el caminos.

If you are referring to the owner's unwillingness to get after it, then I agree. The only P-car I managed to goad into a spirited run was a late-model 911 (non-turbo) that was behind me on a circular on-ramp. He really tried, but i walked away up to around 120, then we both eased up for traffic ahead. Shortly after that he did the fly-by with a grimace on his face. Sore loser...
Of course, I know a 996 tt would have been a MUCH different story. anyway, I encounter Porsches on the road frequently - but they are usually driving like grannies.

Too bad my car is being parted out

This is a common view to most AMG Mercedes including my own E55 Kleemann K1.......
