E55 takes SL55 for the non believers
so im once again driving threw wilsure passing santa monica going twords beach...i see an sl55 with 65wheels licence plate (55ways) so we play a little bit he mashes i mash....and we pull up to a light...and he says...i heard the E is faster than the SL i replied, so they say, and he says well lets see...im freakin loving the fact that this guy wants to drag in a buisy street with plenty of cars around...anyways light turns green we smash i instantley jump half a car ahead then a whole car ahead till we run into cars...we drive threw and make way we start mashing again just flying and i keep pulling on him. we went on to san vicente im sure you LA guys are familiar with that its a longggggggggggg street thats a full straight away for a good 2 miles....so were just teasing eachother....then we get to a light...and hes reving it up...light turns green we hit it...now he hit it before me so i was a little half a car or so back...didnt matter thow i pulled on him and got infront by 2 cars up to about 105mph...gave him a thumbs up for a funn 15-20 minutes...and we went our ways respecting eachothers AMG`s....killing another AMG feels heartless...but it was fun...and YES THE E IS FASTER

PGF... do you just go looking for races on Wilshire? Thats a crazy street with tons of cars and its in terrible condition to say the least. Either way nice run and be safe!

Sorry just playing, I love the SL55 and am actually considering getting one but the mod bug would get to me and I think one 55k engine is enough.

I would call that a fair fight.
Is it a weight issue...wonder why so decisive....the kill. Same motor made a few feet apart, same tranny....what gives. If it is a weight issue, what are they putting in a 2 door sports car that would make it so bloated compared to the 4 door E.

lol VIC...yeah that street is packed with cars, but its got great parts for nice runs...I cant say I go out looking for them, but if I see a car that would be fun to race like a 996 turbo, vette, etc...ill take shot at it and tease them...

There is some younger dude down here in OC that
has a C55. He flys around Orange in the thing like a nutcase.
Paddle shifting in a 25 zone going about 50-60.
It must be new for him. Has no plates
I flagged him and tried to talk to him a couple times. But off he goes.
Everytime I see him I am in the CL500 on the way to work so I dont have much of a chance against a C55.
But next week I a going to drive my SL55 to work a few times.
Would love to humble him just a little.
But dropping the hammer in Old Orange is not a great plan
