lingenfelter did this with a vette and an F-18. 800hp, 866 ft-lbs on the vette. the vette did 0-60 in 1.9. and the quarter mile in low to mid 9's i believe. It beat the jet to the quarter mile, but after that, the jet kicked *** because it reached take off speed.

yup as soon as the jets took off it would be all over, but it was still pretty freakin fast. That F1 car didnt beat it by too much.

That is a champ car, much slower and less advanced than a Formula One car.
