Sweet M3, but I think the car has too much hp. The car doesn't grip until 4th gear; I'd be too frustrated not being able to use the power in lower gears.

Would be nice if there was a way to turbocharge the 5.5L car like they do the AMG 65 cars.
10.5:1 to 11.0:1 cp ,I'd go for it in the V8. Reliqbilty would be the issue though if the compression is not dropped.

What's truly funny is the comments section of the page, where a bunch of E46 guys desperately defend the reliability of that high compression I-6, stating that Mercedes won't put AMG badges on their engines anymore because BMW ///M engines are so much stronger.
Where do people get this BS??
You just don't slap a huge turbo on a high compression/high revving engine without strengthening the internals first. There's no way that lump will hold 800hp for more than 5k miles before it grenades.
On a side note, I'll gladly run that thing in my Sup.

More on strong engines, the BMW engines are now known by all automakers as being so strong this is the first year AMG said they will never put an AMG badge on another Mercedes built engine and the explanation was they couldnt build a strong enough engine to compete against BMW.
