on my way to school today, im sitting at a red light and there is a silver c5 in front of me. i was hoping it was a z06 and he would run b/c the st we were turnong on just starts and is mostly empty, although cop infested. we make the right, all of a sudden i see the rear of the z06 move over couple of feet as it struggles for traction, as soon as its pointing straight, i floor it. we go through the first 3 gears (about 110 or so), the whole time the gap stays the same , i was surprised he didnt pull away at all, 405hp and very close weight wise. we stop at the next light, side by side, i look over and see that the driver is in his 60's , i start crackin up , we roll down our windows and he says "nice car", i reply; "thank you, likewise". the light turns green.... he says "we shouldnt do it again", i was ready w/ psm off , but if i said lets go and something wouldve happened i wouldve felt like an idiot . we slowly rolled off, enjoying our (real ) sports cars.

there are 2 version of the C5 z06
385 and 405hp...

i can't tell them apart.. but i'm pretty sure there are some differences?

do you know how to tell them apart?

other than that i dont know any visual differences

I raced a c5 z06 on the freeway about 3 week ago...from 60 north of 120....

all through 3rd gear we were dead even, once i hit 4h i started walking away ...and thats with my current mods i dont know if it was modded or not, but damn u must have one fast *** ride!!

Nice run bro but you know you have a better interior, and the poor fukur was a senior citizen for Christ sakes, His hip replacement prolly hindered him pushing the clutch all the way down, and missed a shift or 2 lets race? I've tried umpteen times to meet up w/you I'll be in LA area on the 5th of this month call me
