The Wagon had raised plastic wheel arches on all corners. Not sure if it helps but that is the best way I can describe its appearence (it looked more aggressive than the old S6 Avant Wagon in the above pic - maybe the fender arches are/were just cosmetic - I dunno!
). See ya.

Unless they are heavily modded (like 400 whp and higher with upgraded turbos like GT35r or bigger), they pretty much are only good off a Dig/Launch but pretty much fall flat on their faces at about 80/90 mph or so. Off a highway roll.....they just flat out suck. The EVOs i've ran are usually ones with with typical ECU Flash, intake, exhaust and mid/dps. They are a pretty easy walk in the park. I have ran a "supposed" 450-500whp STI awhile back in OC....got him by a couple cars. It's very rare to see EVOs/STIs of the such trap anything higher than the lo 110's. Most of them are in the 105-110 range.....nothing serious.

And start from pg 1 of this to compare Audi S4 times to Evo times:

Well when you are back in NJ let me know. In the mean time i have a few EVO's you can run if you wanna prove your theory!

My 95 Talon TSi AWD should be finished by mid June early July! Bring the Blue pig!

Meaning.....it's a good run if they are GT35r. IF NOT (stock turbo).....they pretty much fall on their faces after 80/90 mph and are only good off a dig. And most are "typical flash, intake, exhaust, Dps, and maybe an MBC" Comprende?
I'd like you to show me where I say a GT35 or bigger EVO falls flat? Hmmmnn.......

AS far as S4 timeslips.....most are not on that list. Try this one.....though many S4 owners have not updated their times...but you'll get a better idea on the times/traps a healthy Stage 3 S4 runs:
http://www.s4biturbo.com/timeslips.cgi
Usually..... a 11.6-11.9@118-122 range. I trapped 118 (no launch, toasted slipping clutch....and a 2.442 60' foot) couple weeks ago at Fontana (1200+ elevation).....(which is nowhere as good a strip as E-town or Atco). I'll see if i can find my slip and scan it just for you
![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
I'll most likely be back in NJ this summer........maybe we'll get to run once your Talon is done. Either way....i am always up for a good run

P.S. I see a couple of S4's running 11's that have more than just stage 3 mods. I guess it depends on what's "stage 3". Please list thanx.

PS I will tell you that they have more fast as hell A4 1.8 and custom 2.0T's than I've seen S4's. Lighter car. But i'm not saying there are'nt any fast S4's. I'm to race(1.8 or 2.0) one that has pistons, rods, and a big turbo this summer.

OK,Perhaps I misunderstood you but I'm definitely up for a good run. You're on!
Don't forget to pm me or pm me a # when you are here.

Most of the S4's running 11's are simple Stage 3's......they don't have other mods that would make them 3+ "plus" or anything. Stage 3 for the B5 S4 constitutes Audi oem upgraded K04 Turbos (or K04 based Hybrids), and fueling (larger injectors, Maf, and Software). Of course, things like upgraded Downpipes/Exhaust, and upgraded Intercoolers are the norm with Stage 3. That's your simple Stage 3 S4.....which healthy ones run mid to hi 11's and trap 118-122. More than Stage 3 would include Cams, P&P intake and exhaust Manis, Heads, etc. My buddy on that list Josh with the same identical setup as mine went 11.6@121. I'm just waiting on a new clutch setup as my current one is done. I'll def PM you once I get back to Jersey later this summer![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

2007 e350, 2004 audi a6 s-line, crappy pickuptruck not worth noting
evilempire... agreed i have a stage 2 2.7t in my 2004 a6 sline. It is no where near your level of quickness but it has embarrassed many of cars on the freeways from 40 to 120. The car has only really been beaten by cars that outclass it like m5,or amg series cars. I do however recall racing a sl500 on a straight away and basically passing him before i changed to 6th gear (110). The funny think is that he was looking in his rearview trying to find me because he thought he had me. People underestimate audi's they are monster cars especially modified.

[ Your SLK55 is Kleeman S/C i take it....489 rwhp? Impressive....i think it would be a good run (i'm in the 430 awhp and 460 awtq range).
[/QUOTE]
The Kleemann SLK55 will smoke your old A4 Avant and even the new RS4 A4 with V8 engine any day. The SLK's 596HP and 0-62 in just 3.7sec will eat any Ingolstadt Audi for breakfast

I think my 550 HP S4 can/will hold its own against even a "Kleeman" SLK55.......actually, I KNOW it would.

BTW.....why do you refer to "A4 Avant" or RS4 "A4" with V8? It's an S4.....and it's an RS4....try getting it straight if you are gonna talk cars. And yes, the V8 RS4 is SLOOOOOOW......what is your point there?

hehe.. Im not that much into Audi. A friend of mine has the new S3 and I am also concidering to get one, I think its a nice small car that I can have lots of fun with. Anyway lets keep it to 0-62 time and 0-62Mph in 3.7sec is very impressive for a small car like the Kleemann SLK. I think the SLK would be faster as it has 596HP and its probably lighter than your Audi. In other words what your telling us here is that your Audi is faster from 0-62 than the 660HP 3.65sec Enzo?? I find that hard to believe.
