The wrecked car was a CLS55. Not sure about the BMW.

They both lost control. One hit a tree and the other hit the shoulder of the road. I'd imagine it could have gone either way. Who is to say that the BMW didn't lose it first and the CLS was trying to avoid hitting the BMW. There is not enough information to say anything about the handling attributes of either car.
The wreck is a very sad situation that happened to two car enthusiasts enjoying their cars. It's a shame that this happened. Be safe out there.

You hit a tree at speed in any car and it won't matter what you are driving. The BMW didn't hit a solid object and was stopped by the car sliding in dirt. The Mercedes was stopped when it hit a tree. Let's wait until we get the final result from the highway patrol until we jump to any conclusions.

i would say +1 for audi, but this guy did about the same thing
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=320088449961
and you need to keep the racing to the track, if it was there more than likely neither would have spun out and if they had, saftey personel would of been there in seconds to help

I can tell you tt the driver of the RS6 walke out of his car with only some minor cuts on the face....tt's all.
Lucky he was...not being injured & of course not injuring anyone else. At what I heared, he lost ctrl at bout 220-230 km/h.
