CL600 loves italian
So there was some ferrari run in DC this weekend, I raced a 348 from the line and I swear i took his shirt off i went by him so fast. Then came the big dog....i followed a brand new F430 for about 4 miles until we could get a break in traffic to make a run. The sound and looks of this beast are purely intoxicating
we finally get a break and from 20-120 i pull two car lengths. fun sunday

I had a guy egging me on in his E36 M3 and I was in my CL. We both got stuck at a light. When it turned green, I let him hit it first before I layed into the throttle. Needless to say, the outcome was the same as your encounter with a 348 but I think I took his shoes and socks with me too!

Thanks guys pulling on him was a surprise and it was a sloooow pull. I do need to mention that I was on my first tank of 100 octane and he had a passenger where I was alone.

Still very impressive; I'm also surprised that you pulled 2 cars on the f430, but I do believe it. I never raced one; my guess would have been about dead even. I raced a new Z06 from about 30-120ish and it was about even, but he beat me by less than 1 car from 0-120. This was the only car to beat me in my Renntech '04 Cl600.
Do you really think the 100 octane makes a difference? I run 100 octane in my car once in a while and I'm not sure if I can notice.
