CLK500 vs modded VW GTI
It was an '03 (I think) silver GTI. The guy had a bigger turbo, intercooler, blow off valve, full exhaust, and it was tuned. I had 3/4 tank of gas and 2 passengers in my car, he had only himself.
We did all sorts of runs. From a 30 roll we were pretty much neck and neck and I pulled maybe a 1/2 length to 120.
40 roll I pulled about 2 or 3 lengths to 130.
From the dig to 135...we stop, I powerbreak with ESP off. I give it gas and ESP totally cuts off my fuel while the GTI screeched away. Even with that loss of power, I finally caught up to him at about 100 and by 135 I beat him by a length.
We did it again from the dig, ESP kills me AGAIN and I wind up beating him by about 3 lengths to 135.
I won every race. His turbo/blow off sounded great, I love hearing turbos spool. It was a fun night that I ended with a nice burnout right on a main road with cops everywhere. Good times...videos to come
Note: The above wasn't actually me. It was a fictional story about my dream to live the life of Paul Walker.

02 CLK 55 AMG,09 C63 loaded with P30
The C63 vs the GTR on a roll will be a close race. The GTR will be jacked up to $80k+! The C63 will be a much better deal for only $60k. The new M3 with only 415hp is a little weak.

I ordered the M3 before specs and reviews came out. The whole car seems pretty weak in general. I'm just worried that when the GT-R comes out it will go for way over sticker price, like Jon said, maybe $80k. The GT-R will give 911 Turbo performance so I am pumped for this car. And it has serious potential if you want to modify it...spring '08 can't come any sooner
Ash, wow, you have 2 Skylines. Props to you bro.

Yup, those modded turbocharged cars are music to my ears.
I should be getting some videos up soon and you'll be able to hear the turbocharged cars in all their glory (along with my badboy V8 musclecar note lol)
