Modded C6, vs lightly modded SRT8 wagon

Light to light, funny it was 1 of my most enjoyable kills to date! saw him on surface streets & ran by him to get it started then what do ya know? pefect line-up at Stop light -- Both of us had the entire street clear & were right at the cross-walk (All blk'd out very kool SRT8 Wagon w/aftermarket wheels exhaust /posible headers? as it sounded GOOD!) light hits green I light'em up & spin at the line (Was just on my way to the grocery store, C6 tires were deff cold) he instantly pulls (1) length & a 1/4 then I get traction BAM!!

I sling shot pass him like he dropped anchor, I pulled 5-6-7-8+ lengths to the next red light & had to slam on the brakes & ended up halfway in the cross walk totall thrill & much better than frwy rolls!!!!Dude was kool gave thumbs-up & I did like wise...SRT8 got fully raped

Wanted to go again but as soon as we hit the next block Johny law was in the right lane (No way he missed our little battle) but to my surprise he looked over & acted as if nothing happened I just wish I had it on video or saw it from a spectators view--to EVIL blk'd out rides goin' at it, I was on my Bluetooth at the time & my friends yelling at the end of the race "What in the hell was that your car??" too funny!

I think I'm really going to like Drag racing at a ligit 1/4 track! win lose or draw that shi*t is FUN! I love looking like the under dog as he deff got a great launch & thought he was going to win & then just destroying him!!

Sorry to be posting NON Mercedes action, but I will eventually grow board of the bowtie & aquire a used SL600 or SL65...

He gets you over 1CL on the launch and you get him by 8 lengths to the next stoplight? If you're stock, than that must be a 1/4 mile to the next light...details, please.

You're not tracking...it's a joke...

"A guy w/nearly the exact same mods BLAH BLAH BLAH" but not you? Right... ANYWAY...

There's modded SRTs running high 11s, 118-123mph...

http://www.lxforums.com/board/timeslips.php

Jeep SRTs probably a little quicker.

I know we weren't, but you implied my post is fictious? The C6 is very fast w/simple bolt-ons, just a fact. & the only mod diference is he has a torque converter, (which indeed drops 1/4 times) But he has 3.73 gearing vs my 3.90 so my C6 is still pretty stout...

BTW your linkie no workie w/out membership

No not at all, but it's apples and oranges. He probably shouldn't have pulled the tiger's tale to begin with...

I've given enough smack downs to Vettes (don't know them well enough to know specific years/models) in my Jeep SRT to leave them making their next stop at the pharmacy, to pick up their Viagra refill!

Not yet, my S stomps the guts out of the Jeep right around where it starts to slow down a bit, just slightly post 1/4 mile, around 120 or so. The Jeep SRT will top out (stock) in the 155-ish range, but the S will get there MUCH faster...

I need to run 'em all at the track, which is now closed for the season here (Epping NH/NED).

I raced a modded SRT8 magnum at e-town. He got a 13.4, we were pretty close up to the 1/8th mile where he slowly pulled.

He told me he had headers, head work, tune, intake, exhaust, random stuff like that. But he also mentioned that he is extremely disappointed and the tune is probably causing his car to run slow.

I also raced a Jeep SRT8 from a roll and he had nothin' on me all the up into the triple digits.
Though I wouldn't want to run one from a dig...nasty awd b@stards lol.

Nice kill dude, but I'd expect nothing less from your Vette
