The SL keeps walking away. Granted, he had an advantage from being in the lead and hitting it first, but the lambo still had an obviously difficult time keeping up and certainly wasn't closing on him.
The 65s are clearly quicker by a decent margin.

To me it sounds like he's shifting up twice in a few seconds after passing the SL, and there is no way in h*ll that Murci is even close to 1/4 down on the throttle. Wake up man.
I reckon the results will yield a-- shocking!!!!!-- truth:
The 65 would-did-can kill a Murcielago.

As a matter of fact, reading through their (Lamborghini) 1/4 mile times I've ascertained even an (x)55 can kill the Murcielago.
Stock to stock of course. If any Lamborghini owner doubts this, please PM me. I'm sure we can work something out.
It's always great to see cars of that caliber in action. We have very, very few super high-end cars in Finland. Mainly due to our gigantic car and gas guzzler taxes, which will increase the price of the most powerful (most pollution) vehicles even more next month.
The current attractive list price of an SL 65 AMG is only USD 483,400.00 here in Finland.
However, beginning the 1st of January 2008 an SL 65 AMG will be priced at USD 613,000.00
And the CLS 63 AMG goes for as little as USD 290,000.00. We are so lucky.
That's an increase of 27% in the price of the SL 65, making it an arbitrage opportunity. The prices of used high-end vehicles are likely to jump up also. At the same time the prices of smaller cars (with small engines and little CO2 emissions) will be dropped by 10 to 25 percent making it very clear what kind of cars our government wants us to drive (C Class Benzes and smaller cars).

You are so lucky living in the USA, the land of cheap gas (our's is double your price!) and literally "free" cars.
