I think the word you're looking for is "reckless." "Wreckless" means without a wreck.

im so pissed off now..arg
did some reasearch and found out that this was wat i was up against
5.7L-16V V8 (LS1)
1998-2002 (ram air) 320-355 bhp 4.7-4.2 s. 165 mph / 265 km/h (electronically limited)
i guess he had some mods too so my stock slk55 didnt keep up

i think he drove a 2003 or so pontiac trans am special edition with the high power engine or sumthing.....

*sigh...... this just made my day...
How can a Grand Am beat you? It had to be a GTO or something or maybe it had nitrous...What ever the case it was either a GTO or a heavily modded Grand Am

It may have been a Formula Firebird or WS6 but modded...

Would not have been an LS1 if it was a 98 - 2003. But you have to realize, those GM powerplants can be modded to death on the cheap compared to a Mercedes. Plus a lot of those guys are running on NOS. I have a '96 Trans Am Ram Air WS-6 that is slightly modded and puts down about 340 hp to the rear wheels. It horrible on anything but a straight line, but it is quick and powerful.

Thanks, and thanks for the link - I'll have to show that one to my f-body friends. We're always trading smack talk back and forth and with the only MB to have run at our track (I live in relatively small town) I need all the help I can get to get a dig in.

F-bodies had the LS1 from '98 until 2002 when they ceased production.
