CLS 63 Vs 1998 Trans Am
This was a really good run
This is a Purdy Trans Am Coupe and I found the Owner online, he ran his BEST TIME same day I ran Mine, he actually went sub 12 seconds. You can see this car has some HARD LAUNCHES but that is not enough vs the 440 RWHP CLS63.
This is a great lesson in Weight and Power, cars are completely different yet we are in the same NHRA classification when using LBS/HP

LS6 Cam (02 z06 Vette)
LS6 Intake
Mac Headers
Ported Throttle Body
Exhaust Cut-Out
DirectFlo Air Lid
Yank SS4000 Torque Converter
ASP Crank Pulley
160* Thermostat
3.42 GM Gears
Hotchkis Lower Control Arms
Dyno Tune
Modded Trans Am Best CLS63
1/4 Mile ET: 11.910 12.110
1/4 Mile MPH: 111.940 115.68
1/8 Mile ET: 7.520 7.84
1/8 Mile MPH: 89.330 91.69
0-60 Foot ET: 1.564 1.87
So can my car stay with him?
As you can see
My car starts to pull away after the 1/8th mile
cars are .3 apart at the 1/8th the CLS makes up a tenth and 2mph on the back 1/8th.
Good stuff

I swear the CLS/E 55/63 are the ultimate sleeper cars.Theres NOTHING I enjoy more then sniping sports cars with my 4000lb 63..all the better when the BABY SEAT IS IN STILL THE BACK!

yeah man , nothing is more satisfying than silent assasination.
Thats what is so cool about heads up racing. You may line up a 4 door sedan in your dragster expecting to come out soft , practice the tree , then WHAM your missing shifts and cursing

Beautiful run!
You have a very fast four door coupe.
I still remember that when I was a teenager, I checked out the "back then" Ferrari eater GMC Typhoon and Cyclone and was shocked at how fast they were @ low 13s in a quarter mile.
In less than 2 decades, I now see a huge Mercedes that's barely a few ticks behind the world's fastest exotic cars. That's just impressive.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! +1. The last victim in a Camaro SS sneered at the V8 Kompressor badges. I then allowed him the view of the humoungus Britax baby seat and just retrieved dry cleaning by rolling down the tinted rears...............as I blew by him.

LOL, I am bidding on a Pink and Black Britax for the back seat.. Hey did you take out the air bags in the rear? 8 weeks and my car will be co-piloted by a new born baby girl!!
We should do a Benz Baby meet , LOL
