2001 S4 vs 07 RS4
Last night I decided to go out for a cruise with a couple of friends down sunrise highway, I currently have a stage3 minus S4 ::bigger turbos with stock software + stock fueling:: EST 300~350 awhp. I had three people in the car just relaxing and talking about our current financial situation and what ever Bull that came to mind when....... out comes an RS4 on from the medowbrook highway off ramp. So we look over, ::all passengers were true car aficionados:: and see this middle aged man in a black RS4. We then come to a light and I say nice car, want to do a second gear pull, he replies No gas is to expensive and you don't have enough Horsepower. From that remark my Ego was slightly bruised and replied, it has bigger turbos and enough power to destroy that rs4. So i shrugged it off, rolled off the line when he hits it HARD in first gear, I was already in second at 2000-3000 RPMS when I drop the hammer and reel him in HARD and just walk past him in the middle of 3rd or about 80-90mph. ::mind you he had a 3 car lead, was at 20mph in first and took off:: Either way he didn't pull next to me, he kinda slowed down realizing he was just beaten by an older Audi and at the first light after that, he just turned and when on his own way. Ya gota love that priceless expression on peoples faces when you annihilate them with an older car.

I find it hard to believe that an S4 can keep up with an RS4.
JK......I have C5 A6 and do respect the 2.7t engine. Stage 3 must feel insane. Congrats. The RS4 would look very nice in my garage though.

Did you see the vid when I went against Marc's Stage III when my car was bone stock? Those things got insane torque. I have no doubt that if you had the car running properly, on pump gas, you'd pull an M5, E63/C63, and most cars on the streets.

I forgot to mention in the story he had an MD plate. With that being said, yeah I saw the race and I do want to get a pull with you, the only thing holding me back from tuning my car is...... My personal life is a trainwreck, dads in a hospice at home program, I spend most of my day taking care of him and it just doesn't leave me much time of my own. But eventualy I'll be running, btw have you taken that z06 to the track or dyno after the mods. I'm really curious to see what the gains were.
