New 535i

there are no 535i's on stock turbos trapping 117 and running a 12.8. That trap speed for that time on that car doesnt even make sense. THE fastest 335i is maybe trapping 117 (i think 116) and thats with everything (piggyback, full turboback, intake, fmic, diverter valves, and even race gas)
and I believe it had a weigh reduction (Terry's car)
Then there is the VIP car and Vishnu's car.. so far the only ones I know.
There is no way a 535 will trap 117, unless it has weight reduction, DR, exhaust, DP's, FMIC and Race Gas.. and even then it will need to have the wind on its back and run a bit down hill..
but eventually these cars will get there.. but not right now.

You are right about the 117mph part but the chipped 535i do seem to be getting good times 12.7 at around 110mph as long as its an auto. The 535i really need an upgraded intercooler, more so than the 135 and 335 because for some reason they have smaller ones.
I was thinking one of the reasons the 535i lost is because of the traction control. The 535i has peg leg diff and if the TC is not turned off, it grabs very hard causing the car to almost brake. I have lost lots of races because I forgot to turn of the DTC.

How many encounters with the Twin-Turbo BMW cars have you EVER had? Stock, lightly modded, and Heavily modded. "One" maybe? And it was this 535 Automatic u speak of in this silly thread.
I've had more than enough experiences with them (bone stock ones, chipped ones, with dp's or without, intake, full exhaust, etc...u name it, I've ran it). If it was a "Chipped" 335 or 535 (doesn't even matter which one since your race was from a roll).....it would not be a walking. Oh wait....unless your CLK55 is just a freak and the fastest stock CLK55 around.
As far as you brother's GTO.......i really don't give a sh*t about that
Anyways.......I'd like to see your car versus just a "chipped" 335i. By your story......u should walk one too. I can find you a car to run......we can all meet up the same day you run Carl so we can kill 2 birds with one stone.

Mind you that's on pump and full interior =). Oh and while you're there check out some of the other cars we tune, just last night one destroyed a brand new skyline.
And yes Jon, Tommy running your slow car would be an utter waste of gas, *****s and giggles worth really.
When my engine comes back from BoostFactory you're more then welcome to try to run my 4 cyl, but that will prolly be a waste of gas on my part too.
