The reason I pointed out the 4-5mph is it gets taken away when drafting. Also the 4-5mph doesnt necessarily mean a 1sec difference The last time I was at the drag strip this civic with a 1.9 60ft ran 13.5@100 vs my 13.1@108+ with a 2.1 60ft. Thats less then 1/2 sec even with 8mph difference. Well obviously you don't know about drag racing

and how many car length you were in front? 100mph trap speed are usually 14 sec cars unless they are running some drag radials which helps them a LOT off the line and makes the 1/4 time seems low.

you must think you can beat a C63 or IS-F too then.

Didnt you read the post? The e90 m3 gunned it when I was right behind him,stayed with him to 130 on his rear bumper. My friend has the stock e63 I couldnt keep up at all. 63 AMG are monsters. e90 m3s

Actually that video that you posted is edited to make it look like they did one run. It's been disected in the C63 thread a while back and I think the conclusion was that at least 3 runs where edited to make it look like they only did one. Because in one of the runs you have C63 ahead and then all of a sudden it's third. Or something like that.

i see where you are saying, but I think that's just video editing of when they show the interior so that you actually see the other car they're also testing. The start and result is still the same run. with good launch the C63 will eventually be quicker.

this is a better shown of the ability of all three cars from BestMotoring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clAR90E5cVI still very disappointed with the C63 tho. in just three laps you can see the tires started to give out because of understeer. I think that might be a PP as well. The motor is just too heavy. another reason the C63 was able to stay in front of the IS-F is because Tsuchiya is a much better driver than the guy they put in the IS-F.

Ouch! Yeah don't underestimate the Clk55s! Before the run I though the e90 m3 would beat me good!

Depends on the race!

However,I believe the CLK55 could give the E90 M3 a run for the$$$ up until the speeds possibly get way up there but that is something I'd have to see.

I took out my Clk55 today in the 90F heat. Holding 2nd gear at 45mph and gunned it with the ESP turned off, it still blinked! Never did that when I had the dirty air filters running in the heat.

A RWD drive car spin? No..

Maybe I should post up a video of me loosing traction on all 4 wheels and bouncing off the rev limiter until I regain traction in 2nd and 3rd..

Believe me I'm not afraid to find out after seeing how my car has ran against cars in Mexico. I 'd run against any ISF,V8 E90/92M3,or SRT8 in the mile or more.
