Ok...MY VRP825 got smoked....
LOL... off the line that is...once rolling I was able to recover
So I am cruising home and see this red GT-R swinging in and out of traffic. I say to myself, wonder If we could line up....it was like a wish come true, he must have seen me chasing him and he stops right at the light...I pull next to him and start stearing at his Brakes and try to see thru the tinted windows but he doesnt pull down windows. Well I set to comfort mode and raise suspension for better weight transfer. Light turns green and we mash it, the GTR takes off the line with no spin at all like a bat out of hell...I of course spin like never before but immediately shut ESP off and pull up after he was up for a good 2 cars. I was able to catch him but by that time we were coming to another light and needed to stop. I pull next to him and tell him, "we should definitely do this next time from a roll" he gives me props for my ride i return the favor. We both go our own way. not a kill but an interesting experience....I need stickier tires. Can someone recommend R compounds in 19's , I might look into the R888's for summer.

F -U...that has been fixed. Got 4 toyo proxes T-1r, they suck need R compounds. You can't expect me to roll with slicks at all times or do u?

Nice jody!!
In the real word, sans R compound tires and the ability to smoke tires to get more grip, I love having my GT-R from a dig. It does really just go...
I have never in my life hoped so much for red lights.

R compound tires are not the panacea that some might think with such a torque monster. Even drag radials on the street aren't optimal given that they really need to be heated up first to work effectively and the regular road surface is not optimally prepared (and forget about it when it has dust and debris on it). The best thing to do is just practice your "street launch".

Eventhough the R compounds will not cure the spin it will sure help when combined with better street launches. I have not gotten used to the power since I only drive the car 3-4 times a month...lol, When the summer comes and street is Hot...they will surely stick. I had them on the E55 and it was a wonder.
