2003 C32 vs modified S2000 In San Francisco

Please no hate responce for endangering my kids... They were having just as much fun as me.

Got the kids 9 and 7 and 10 months old in the car after I picked up the two kids from school. Very light traffic on Sunset Blvd. Its one of those large boulevards where there are three lanes and the lights are timed every two intersections to keep you at 35mph.

So, we are all talking about the school day. "Daddy, I had gardening class today". "Thats wonderful Cynthia." Suddenly at my side was a bright blue Honda S2000 slammed on the brakes and rolled next to me. Then he launched forward while revving his motor and then braked. Then he did the same scenerio while revving loudly and leaning over the passenger seat to look at me.

Being a serious car guy I took some really good mental notes about this guy and car. Asian kid with dyed hair in a beautiful bright blue car that was dropped. THe exhaust looked like it was stainless steel with the fake blue anodized tips on them. And the car sounded really mean. It had that low sound that started to shreak a reverberated tone when he excellerated. A nice sounding well put together sportscar.

"Rose... Cindy... this guy wants to race us. Wanna race him?" The more conservative daughter asks, "But will we win Big Daddy?" "Yes we will Rosie let get him" "Horray!!!" screams my little Cindy. As for Marcus he is just chilling in the backseat.

We speed up and purposly get caught at the stoplight. He revs and revs and we hammer it at the green. I pull him for the entire block and hit the brakes. He looks at me again and revs again. The scene is repeated as I leave strips of black on the pavement. All along the kids are screaming and laughing.

At the last light I hand the girls my camera and have them wave to the guy and give a thumbs up. He gave a sheepish wave and did not pursue anymore.

As my little Cynthia said after, "Horray for Shooting Star!!!" My little girl.

Yes, we got pictures.

Miguel

ps: I made it up... it never happened.

I know... I know... racing is bad. Speeding is bad. And it isnt something the kids should be exposed too. But since they are experienced to my track days and Supermoto motorcycle racing and everything else in the garage like their electric cars and pedal Porsches etc... It isnt as if they are unaware of their naughty naughty daddy. Come to think of it I remember how my dad used to race hot roads with the family sedan and talk to me about numbers and HP and handling etc. What did he drive? A 1972 Mercedes Benz 280SE 4.5. I remember the car hitting almost 135 on Hwy 5 coming back from Northern California.

And not that it is any excuse but my C32 never made it over 60ish mph. Still speeding... for shame.

Anyway, here is the car. Maybe it will make it onto a local S2000 forum.

Looks like he has heavy wheels, but stock or lightly modded an S2000 doesn't stand a chance in a drag.

S2000's arent that quick (relatively). they need to be supercharged or turbo'd to keep up with me. they need to be heavily modified to keep up with a modified C32, let alone a heavily modified C32

You know whats funny, is i have seen that guy in my car, when i was rolling down 19th ave..... This kill story reminds me of "Meet the Parents" that car scene when Ben Stiller is racing Robert Deniro in his Merc to get home to cover up the cat.... If anyone knows that im talking about im sure you laugh

Well... that is the same neighborhood. I have seen him driving all over the Sunset and Richmond Districts. Usually revving it up in populated areas. Last time was on Balboa Street by the cafe's and Chinese restaurants.

If I see him parked I will say hello.

I have a feeling I know who drives that s2000. I think he either went to my high school or is a friend of someone who went to my high school. anyways, good kill!

edit: he's one of those "gangster" type of guys I think.
