C32 VS 911 carrera 4s
......anyway, was drivin' along and behind me was a drk silver 911 not sure of the year but looked new. anyway he was trying to pas but there were a few cars so i stayed put. he then pulled up next to me and i could hear him down shift and waiting for a lane to open. I said to myself i'd probably get schooled but then i had a free lane and so did he....
inside me figured what the hell....so i floored it, he went right and I left I was behind him about a 1/2 a car...thinking I would get killed.....he wouldn't pull
....i thought huh? theres no way he's just cruising 'coz i'm WOT!!!anyway, there were some cars so I let off .....he wanted to go again,. he was cruising and waiting.... so when I puylled up to him in, I didn't hessitate and i floored it agian, I think reacted first cause I was about a car ahead. the lane next to me was free and he tried to pass but he couldn't catch up but I couldn't pull away either @ WOT but at about 130 he was creeping up slowly. luckily for me we both had to let off b/c of some traffic.....so not really a kill. as he pulled up I wanted to give him the thumbs up but he had the most sour look on his face!!! I was just surprised that i actually kept up....

honestly, the carrera 4s isnt that quick. i can tell you that the one at dyncomp with intake, exhaust, and tune dyno'd in the 270whp area IIRC. however, if you run across a 911 that says turbo....thats a whole 'nother story.

there appears to be a broad range of times.....looks like anywhere from mid 13s at 106 to mid 12s at 113. i suppose it depends on conditions, drivers, and apparently transmisison (IIRC, i think i read some had a 6sp manual and some a 7spd dual clutch auto)

Im not surprised you stayed with him-a 4S is a heavier car-and stock is 320bhp-tiptronics add even more weight and shift like ***-Turbos and GT class cars...yeah-you know what those are
