SuperSprint/PP-Performance SLS AMG vs 2013 Shelby Snake
It is very well known that the 2013 Ford Shelby Snake is a very powerful American muscle car. With all the technical data, no one would expect any naturally aspirated AMG to beat a 2013 Ford Shelby Snake.
Here's a race I had with one just a few hours back. Two races were video taped from my GoPro camera.
First race was from 80KM/hr, ESP-Sport
Second race, 100KM/hr ESP-Off (Where AMG Hell is unleashed)

I never said no, i just came yesterday ...
Previous model ? mustang ? i didn't race a mustang for a while .... and no mustang of any kind i raced beaten me if i remember.... so check your resources .
Getting some work isn't the race header and tune c63 from pp performance ? but no problem i will race any way

1 - not a Super Snake ( no hood scoops )
1 bis - looks like a 2011 model - no double leds on headlights ( less than 550hp with no mods )
2 - you are even until easily 250km/h , then a GT500 will sturgle do to its non-aerodynamic shape. You have a SLS dude... you can go beyond 200mph.. 2011 shelby will never see anything close to 200mph...
3 - try a 2013 gt500 next time
4 - you are a looser with your comments.....

I paused @ 1:34. What you see is the standard hood opening on a 2010-2013 GT500.
I watched it in 1080p and I'm 100% sure its not a SS.
You have a great machine but please stop "insulting" other cars like you do in your vids. Only makes you & your people look like *******s....
Just post the vids as they are , no editing , raw footage and everybody will say "good race" , no more.
Still I think a stock SLS would win the same vs a gt500 , even more @ high speeds like this. This GT500 should have some mods , but again not a SS
For reference , this is a 2011 SS ( what a great looking car !! )

I'm not insulting aynbody. You came here at this thread and called me a "loser" and doubting that this is actually a 2013 GT500
The hood scoop is shown at minute 1:34 and also the stripes are wide like a 2013 Gt500. The 2011 GT500 have narrower stripes.
I will take a picture of my SLS next to it soon, so you can see you for yourself.

I dont know where the conflict is coming from....
I watched the video closely. The Mustang in the video is a 2013 Shelby GT500 snake. It certainly isnt a 2011 model. For two obvious reasons. Check this out folks:
This is a photo of a 2011 Shelby
Notice the stripes on the 2011 model. They are thin and narrow. In additon. Look at the hood opening. It is direct with the hood, which is the same as the 2011 model. Now look at the 2013 model:
Notice that the 2013 model has wider stripes and also has the same 2011 scoops. Now going back to the video uploaded by the OP, check out this still photo:
You can clearly see that those stripes differ from the 2011 Shelby and is clearly a 2013 Shelby Snake.

I see what you are saying... but is this a 2013 Shelby GT500 (650HP) or the Super Snake (850HP). The picture in the previous post of the Super Snake has completely different stripes. I think your pictures are the GT500... the SS has a large center stripe and two small side stripes. Look at the link in post #20.

In the vid he said the GT500 normally dynos 580whp....sounds like 662hp 13 GT500 to me. Case closed right there, it is not a 850hp super snake. Maybe a GT500 with a super snake package minus the upgraded motor

Yes this a 2013GT500 which makes 662HP.
I had a misunderstanding thinking that it is also called "Snake" and the 850HP would be called "super snake". Because guys here in Qatar call the 2013 GT500, "Snake" which makes 662HP.
But the one in the video is definitely 2013 GT500 and not 2011 as some others believe.
If it's the case with 850HP "Super Snake" my SLS doesn't stand a chance unless I supercharge it.

I have edited the title of the video on YouTube to reflect that it is a 2013 GT500 Shelby.
