A bucket on wheels
most 600+CC supersport bikes should EASILY pull on most exotics and sport cars. However, bikes have really bad aerodynamics (sp?) at over a 100mph, exotic or sports car can start catching up. As seen in the video, in 6th gear the cobra was able to pull but in every other instance the cobra got burned. And the bike is only an F4i, id love to see that cobra go against the new yamaha R1 or a hayabusa.

Hrmmm it seems that you have NEVER had any true hard core experience with HIGH HP Sportscars outthere. However, I have raced numerous F4's in my E55 from a roll ( around 60-70 roll on ) and pulled pretty easily on them. However a R1 and Hayabusa are LOW 10sec high 9 sec bikes from factory OF COURSE a E55 is out of that league right? that is ELEMENTAL. However I used to eat stock R1 and stock Hayabusas in my Supra from a 3rd gear roll.

c'mon now...the f4i stock runs 10's. and your saying you pull on them pretty easy. were the f4's really racing you. you would have heard their tail pipe scream at you.

I NEVER wrote new F4's right? I have beat old F4's. Like 2000 or 99. A bike is a bike partner. prolly runs 10's at a ****ty trapspeed

A bike is a bike,

And a car is always slower. Both can be lots of fun,so stop your whining and just go enjoy whatever you're riding or driving. You car guys will never understand how really quick a good bike can be.

6th gear on motorcycles is just for cruising and for the EPA. Honestly to get in the powerband for 6th gear you'd have to be doing 160-190 mph. Lets see a car floor it at 1000 rpms in 6th.

Not to mention the rider wasnt exactly an expert, watch the vid you'll see he's wearing jeans and doing 100-160. (Not that hes the first to do it. But where the hell are his leathers?)

The bike beat the crap out of the car, end of story. Put it next to a Gemballa 750 GTR EVO and it'll have a run for its money, but until then if a bike loses, its lack of rider skill.

PS I've owned two R6s, and I'm getting the 04 R1, so I'm no squid. That guy was a squid.

Reminds me of my riding friends, they'd pretend to race a civic from a stoplight, using one hand on the handlebars, wait till about 100, and roll on the throttle.

Want to compare a modified supercar to a superbike? Compare it to a modified superbike, watch how fast the needle climbs, and for all you disbelievers listen to the engine, the guy's front wheel is in the air until he shifts into 6th. (Almost 250 mph)
http://www.sportsbikerider.com/useru...o%20390kmh.wmv

How about a stock R1? Watch how fast the speedo climbs.

http://bykz.com/videos/see-ya-cop.wmv

And for those of you who claim no one can use power how about someone on a 750? Just watch the speed!
http://home.online.no/~jac-an/bikemo...lswildride.wmv

If you talk to any motorcycle rider they will tell you its not the bike, its the rider. On a 600 I was more than capable of making most people on R1s look slow. Not to mention the F4 is an old bike, it doesnt even have fuel injection. The F4i would have done better. About 15 HP better. (Power to weight wise thats 150 extra hp) But it's still a honda. Honda Civic vs F4i I wonder who will win, hmmm.

And a car is a car, in my Supra I used to play with the gas with bikes ALL THE TIME, as you can see the power that makes, you said it bikes are QUICK and now I add..they are quick NOT fast. My Supra IS fast that's where the difference comes into play. From a roll my friend is a TOTALLY different ball game if you know anything about POWER/WEIGHT ratio.:o That if there are not that many cars out there with the ability of beating bikes well yes of course, but there are MANY that can and have. Driver is yes an important part of riding a bike, but hey from a roll a 80 year old lady can just speed shift without killing the bike and make the bike go just as fast.

There are NO excuses.:o

Bikes not fast. A few years ago I remember C + D doing a test of the fastest production cars against a Kawi 900 Sport Bike. The Shelby Cobra was the closest that could keep up with the bike 0-100. The bike went 0-100-0 before the Cobra could reach 100, or any other car for that matter. The rider here does not know how to drive a bike properly. Go out and race a guy on a Ducati 996 if you want to see how slow the E55 is compared to a bike. Even the mighty SLR could not make it too 100 as fast as most high end sport bikes with a good driver. Anything that can go 0-100-0 in around 10 seconds is in no way slow.

Yes it did, my Supra won the National Supra meet Dyno challenge, it came out in Turbo Magazine 2002. Also when I won another IDRC event in West Palm Beach,FL it came out again.

Hey SomeGuy

INCREDIBLE videos. Super fast acceleration, and nerves of steel in that last one between traffic.

I love AMG, but for ultimate speed and acceleration bikes

This is what happens to Hayabusas, the fastest production bike ever sold, when they go from rollons against 850rwhp Supras... Supras that make power like I do, like Jesus's did, and like Darren, the guy in the video, makes.

Don't make excuses either. This wasn't a race against some bonehead rider. Darren, the driver of the Supra, was challenged by the Busa boards after beating up on some 1100cc GSXRs. The rider is not dumb.

Define dragstrip ready?

Darren Walser's car is just like ours. 3400-3500lbs. A/C, power steering, full interior, stereo, 13" brakes, etc. Just as much of a street car as they were when they were stock, just with over triple the horsepower.

Hey Marcus.....

Great looking cars you have there! How long did it take you to build that Supra, and have you ever lost a race yet?

maybe the driver had a stomach ache. I driver slower when I have to take a dump - I have to keep switching positions so my cheeks squeze together.

A modified supra vs a stock busa. If you want to make it fair why don’t you race a modified bussa that has 400 hp then see who wins. a stock bussa has 183 hp

I think it is funny when people want to race modified cars vs. stock bikes. I say make it fair, stock car vs. stock bike or modified car vs. modified bike. I guess they like proving that they unloaded a crap load of money so he can beat a stock $9000 bike. Whooo Hoooo
