Unhappy Racey mood-- no one wants to race... why???

Well...

Today I went out, with my friend, looking for some body to race. A slow monday. Took the day off, and just went out. Plenty of hot rides out there, and not one of them wanted a run.

I took-- or rather my passenger took a few photos of some of the hotter rides. Ferrari, Porsche, some speedbike, no one was in a racey mood. Lame. Whats with everybody this week? What a slow, and dissapointing start, espically when I don't see 550s Marenellos everyday. Oh well... maybe next time...

Me want to race. No one wants to race.

Everyone wants to race. Im down and dont want to race.

All else aside, enjoy the pics... the Ferrari was beautiful, cruised with style and grace, the Porsches rolled the freeway with an authoritve stance, and the Motorbike cruised as if one with wind-- and yet not one, driver was willing to settle for a friendly run.

So depressing for some reason. Slow month, slow week, slow day. WTF!?

Dude....be happy you even see Ferraris on the highway. Where I live, I'm lucky If I run into a Porsche every now and then. I see a few M3's here and there....but it always seems like they are on the other side of the highway.

Yeah, well, the Ferrari just as well might be a Honda, wont change much. I could have had him too...

140!? Whoa-- out of my league, I'll do 120, 130, but Im not crazy. I like to keep it as safe as possible. Im not saying 130 is safe, is just right for me, Im not Dale Earnhart, or whatnot, so unless its a straight stretch with no traffic, 130 is where I tend to stop. Unless... Im racing say a Ferrari or Lamborghini. Than, Im willing to go faster, but just to prove some Cobra wrong or something I wont risk my SL, thats my baby, and if I would ever crash with it. I would kill myself, if I don't die from the crash.

I know this thread, said Im looking for racers, and I am, within a sane raidus. And how is it your CLK beats M3s and such?

And thanks for the tip on where to find racers.

You can beat anybody remember? You are Lexani. Your finely honed driving skills piloting your mercedes could beat a DC-10 in a race across country.

Same here. Sometimes I race at high speeds but I try to keep it as safe possible!

Serious? An E55, can and would tear a 575 to shreads. And as for the meet, I asked one of the people who wanted to meet, to start a new thread about that so we may further discuss the topic there.

Like I said, Im not Dale Earnhart, and yes, 10 more mph for me is a big difference, might not be for you, but for me it is. So point and laugh, and make jokes-- its the truth.

The E55 may have a torque advantage but I hardly see the Ferrari as being torn to shreads. I'd be surprised the figures are that far off between the two.

Incidentally, I've come across a 575 and an SL 55, and the 575 proved to be more of a challenge (might be a driver thing though).

Your right! Im exagerating the truth. IT would not tear it to shreads, but it would prove a worthy oponent, and I believe the E55 could beat it.

As for the SL55 vs. 575, I believe the SL55 should also beat it-- heck the SL55 beats the Murcielago in high-speed punches.

And what car do you own, if I may inquire?

Welcome to the boards!

You may: Stock (to stay stock) Audi S4 (nothing to write home about performance-wise). It's the bike that does all the 'killing' (cbr1100).

Thanks, ironically, I logged in because of the increase of people trying to race the bike with C320 , 230 , C32/36s.

CBR1100. Ok, me with bikes, is like Bush knowing what hes doing; so with that, can you tell me a little more about it. Is the bike in the picture a CBR? C230s, those things couldn't lose a Taurus.
