Cadillac XLR - Get REAL!!!!
Coming home today, this guy was all over my A**, moving his car left and right like he was going to go somewhere, I could tell it was a cadillac, but barely since he was so close to me. Tailgaters really tick me off when they are behind my SL600. He was finally able to get in the lane next to me and he accelerated to the traffic light that was already red. I got up to him, and being mad about the tailgating, I waved to him but only with one finger of my hand. The light turned green, and I hammered it, not suprised, but his car did not perform like it does on the commercials on tv, he was totally out matched. He eventually caught up and passed me after I slowed down. Again I gave him the one finger wave. This 600 is incredibly powerfull, after accelerating like I did, it's almost scary, there is that momentary pause before the car just rockets forward. He may have thought he had something, but he knows this evening, he can race Honda Civics and maybe win, but not the SL600.

NICE race, and NICER car. I had wondered about those cadillac performance figures. I dont doubt they are fast but not V12 fast. Very classy car, i'd like to have one someday... *remembers to graduate college first*

Thanks for the nice comments, a car like this is something to look forward too, get that degree, get out in the business world, make the bucks and then enjoy it!

A 600 should kill an XLR. Why brag about that? That's like me bragging about beating Mustangs in either of my cars.
I just bought my wife an XLR over an SL500 for Valentine's Day. Her car is stunning and gets plenty of attention. More so than my 996TT and E55. Its a great car for the $$$. Under $77k with Nav, "Keyless Go", heads up display, SAT, and much more. The paint job blows away my E55 as well. I was dead set against American cars until I actually drove the XLR. I do feel a difference comapred to the MB, but not enough to justify an extra 35k for a car she only drives when she isn't taking the kifs with her. Let's not be so snobby guys. We didn't always have such nice toys.

Yeah, SL600 drag race w/ XLR. That's really mature.
I hate getting tailgated also. I usually either get out of the way or wait until the person pass me. No need for gesture bc you never know what kind of nut is on the road and my car isn't playing bumper car with anyone else.
