I beat a Viper, a C5, 911 Turbo, and a M Coupe...

...on street tires this past weekend autocrossing. The C5 was a 1999 hardtop on race tires. All the other cars had street tires.
I guess I have bragging rights now.

I had some hood damage and had the "hole" filed in. When a C-sedan grill with star comes available I be sure to get one.

There was gravel on the road that the cars ahead picked and they landed on the hood. It took off the paint and dented it. Luckily the windshield was not hit. The hood was repaired and repainted blending into he fenders.

I told them explicitly that the car had to be no less than OE as it would be judge in up coming MB shows. With the hood ornament gone I also took off the side badges. I get some weird looks when people are in front of the car. I just need some poor fitting black mask across the front and it will look like a prototype. :P

I like the cleaniness of the front now. Just need to work on the rear.

No, I like the styling as it shares the lines with the E and S-class. With the body being smaller and using the same emblems just over does the cars and makes it look tacky.
