Time to say Bye, Bye. Sold the ML...

Hey guys.

Haven't been on for a while--been tending to my three little kids mostly. Which is why I had to sell the ML. We needed more room for the babies. I'm almost embarrased to say I got the nissan armada . It's a very good suv for the money, seriously. I'm very surprised at how good it drives, as this is my first japanese car. Anyway, to help me make the psycological transition, I also got a BMW M3 with the SMG transmission--what a freagin amazing piece of machinery! That's one sweet-**** ride.

Anyway, nice being a part of this forum, but this'll be my last thread.

Peace.

Congrats on the M3, thats a good trade off. When we were looking for an SUV, we considered japanese cars just so I can keep my M3. But that car is getting old and I wanted an E46 M3 so I decided to sell the M3 and got an ML and wait for a couple of years to get myself another M3. Same here though....tending to my 8 mos old boy.

Enjoy the M3

Nissan are very well build. They last a long time. I love to have a M3 as well but my G35 Sedan serves a very economical and fun purposes for now. As for my ML500 beside my wife's love the emblem, I found myself starting to looking for something either bigger like QX56/Armada or a comfy sedan with good leg room and hip room in the back and some nice trunk spaces like the new Audi A6 3.2 wagon or the New BMW 530i SMG wagon. Just something to thinking about for now as my 03 ML500 its still going strong.

I'm very surprised at how the Nissan excels over my former Escalade and, dare I say, ML. It is superior on many levels. The power is incredible, 385 ft lbs of torque! I got the top Armada model, the LE, and it whomps all over my ML. Don't consider the QX56, it's no different and costs 10k more.

The M3 is the best car I've ever owned and will probably save it for my kids. I got it with the red interior and it's pretty bad-***!

Anyway, sorry to get off topic for a bit. I loved my ML and am missing it already, but the family that bought it was very happy and my new toys are helping the pain...

Besides the ML, my second car is a Nissan Maxima...

Its a 95 model - I bought it used last year with 150K miles on it...it was to serve as a starter car for my wife who just happend to learn driving....

So far, I have put 15K miles on it, and I ended up replacing my ML with the maxima as my work commute car. Very reliable, and maintenance free...I must say....and a lot of value for money...its got automatic climate control, keyless window roll down and lot of such advanced features, which my 00 ML doesn't...

but when I am towing my boat, there is obviously no comparision between the two!!
