You're replacing your headlights from xenons to halogens, I think that's a wrong move. But anyways to answer your question, the model of your ML have different pin assignments, so you either need to swap the pins in the plug (just pull them out) , or buy a pigtail. For wiring pinouts visit http://www.whnet.com/4x4/bixenon.txt

HID upgrades are technically not good since the lens of a halogen projector uses a different pattern than the lens of an HID. My understanding is that the lenses are different so that for the halogens, there is more scattering of light where the HID’s are more focused. Also going the aftermarket HID route you will only get low beam HID's and high beam halogens. If you get the OEM Bi-Xenons you get two stages of intensity from the HID's which are controlled by a metal flap inside the headlight.

You could of simply changed the bulb on your Xenons to achieve the deep blue look... I replaced my stock 4300k bulbs with new 8000k bulbs and here is what mine now look like...

what bulbs are you trying to get to fit in your car? And if your refering to the headlights above, those are HID bulbs

thank you

I am not sure
I like the bulbs about which are HID.. can they fit in 2001 ML320 ?
should I just buy these bulbs and replace with the bulbs I currently have?
I also like the New Headlight Assembly .. or is it easy to change the whole Headlight assembly ?
Because I am confused with all these HID and Bi-Xenon threads.
Any help will be appreciated
TIA
