Go with a 40 series tire but any larger than 45 on a 20" and I think will start to mess with your speedo.
But you want 20's?
It comes with the territory your going to have to get lower than normal sticky's.

Based on what your looking for (tall sidewall, nice ride) a good tire size on a 9.5" wheel we normally do 255/45/20 toyo tires. As for wheels, you can visit the site www.d2autosport.com and cruise around see what you like.

295/40/20 - as I said in benzworld.
Off-topic observation for the last poster... "D2 Autosport" is a pretty funny business name for anyone who has lived in Germany. Sounds more like a mobile phone provider to me. I guess due to Mannesmann's investment into STW advertising, most car enthusiast Americans would associate D2 with motorsports. Can't wait until I open a tuning shop called "Tide" in Germany at some point.

That sounds great, TIDE, its different.
So when you open up for business we'll be your distributor for high line products. Good luck with that.

I have to agree with D2 on the tire size. I had the same concerns as you did with tire size and decided on 18's, but the sales person pushed the 20's, gave me a great deal and the 255/45/20 tire size works well with no real significant "rough ride"...
