i just bought an ml500 and i want to know what it can beat on the street? i know it will kill almost all the other suv's but what about cars?

Well my mother picked one up a 2003. Here are the stats on it, its also faster than my fathers 2002 escalade.

I just bought an 03 ML500. Its only got 320 miles right now, still need to break in before I test it out myself. I hope its as fast at MT stated. According MBUSA its only 7.7 not a really impressive time compare to the S500 low 6s. Wonder what went wrong or is there a difference between 49 state model and California model, if there is different models!!!

You're kidding right. Comparing 0-60 times for the S500 with the ML500???? The ML is a truck with a very respectable 0-60 time. The S500 is a heavy vehicle that's very fast. When you're done breaking her in, go to the highway and open her up. It's very fast, that's all I'll say!!!

Safety Safety, man. MB says 7.7 to reach out to the insurance boards and the soccer moms. You have to realize that. If you've ever driven it, you know it is not 7.7.

The ML500 doesn't feel very fast when you first nail the gas but when it hits 4000rpm, hold on!!

BTW, what is the redline on the ML500 ? There's no marking on the tach.

this ml pulls really hard if you downshift, i am very impressed. i had my doubts at first, but not any more. i also have a 5.9 cherokee, i think it is almost just as fast.
