Wheels
Very nice - especially the chrome wheels. Are they original equipment for the 500, or did you have them chromed?
I would like to have the original (silver painted) wheels on my 2004 ML 350 Inspiration chrome plated.
Any recommendations?

Sorry - I just saw the follow-up to my wheels comment, but I can't see the picture that looks like it should be with the posting?
What type/size/finish/price are your ML wheels?

I got my wheels from LAWhEELS.com. I used the wheel exchange program. Ithought seriously about getting some 22's but I saw my car rolling with my brother driving and was WOW'd . So for now my pocket is still half full.

The inspiration were very nicely optioned. I hope you enjoy your ride. But please can you tell us more???? When purchased, whym usage, etc, etc. BTW those are the ML430 rims (or replicas), circa 2001. They looked so nice that MB offered those as options (not chromed), even through 2005. What is the width?

I exchanged my original wheels for the chromed ones with LA wheels. They are 17" wheels. I wanted some 20" or 22" but decided to keep it clean. The wheels are an exact fit and same style that came with the vehicle; no vibration or anything altered with the ride.
The 500's here in B'ham have the same wheels on them as mine.
My ML is only used for road trips. The ML is too expensive to drive everyday, especially since the price of gas is making people get second jobs just to be able to drive to work. I really like the truck, the only real problem I;ve had was the gas gauge all of a sudden stopped working but that was covered under warranty.
By the way, my 500 has condensatioin on the windshield when I have the AC on at times, it only cover the lower portion of the windshield. Have any of you had this problem or can you give me some advice?
That big baby drinks worse than I do. I drive the CLK 320 for everyday touring.
