Trip computer / Odometer
Trip computer / Odometer
The trip computer is stuck in Kilometers, I tried holding down mode for a few seconds, that did not change it. I also tried holding down reset, and that just reset it. I tried holding down both, and that did not do anything.
Also, is it at all possible that since the trip computer is stuckin KM that maybe the odometer is as well? Just a thought, cause my mom has 7,200 miles on it already, and I didn't think she drives that much (but maybe she does!)

Not supposed to hold it down. Tap switch thru mode till the language comes up then hit the reset till US comes up and that shoud fix it. Why not stay out of your mothers car and stick with your Pathfinder. believe your mother will have many less problems then!!
Thank you!
Thanks, that did the trick!
It was set for "Ger" -- Germany. I changed it to USA like you said.
PS, since last time they re-set it, it shows 21.1 MPG which is pretty good (for 272 miles) considering part of their trip today from DC they were stuck in bumper/bumper traffic.

There are also fuses in the passenger's? footwell by their right foot; the information on the inside of it does not specifically mention the trip computer fuse but does mention the instrument cluster; I would start by looking there.

There is a plastic panel, held by two large plastic screws, by the right foot of the driver (in my case) which, when removed, gives access to the secondary fuse box.
You can see the plastic screws quite clearly in the picture which I hope to be able to upload.
OK, I cannot upload pics, either tell me how to upload pics or send me an email address so that I can send you the pic., sorry.
