Look at what my friend brought by the other day.
he works at a body shop and this ML was a totaled out car.... not really my cup of tea, but its a head turner... its a 1999..

the problem with these aftermarket kits is they're so impratical unlike on the lambo's the come from. The car is raised some garages will have difficulty opening these up and having clearance to get in/out of. With the lambo it is lower than waist line so it is ok. you will hit your head on this door if you're not careful.
They also are usually motorized so you will wet your interior if it was raining before you can open and close the door. Chances are nobody will be able to stand this foolishness and own the car for more than a year without getting sick of waiting 2 minutes to go in and out of the car. .

the kit doesn't look bad (as in bodykit), but still don't get why are people risking their lifes putting on the lambo doors. 1. they are not DOT approved 2. their hinges look extremely fragile. I can't imagine what will happen when the car is hit from the side (i.e. hinges broke off and door fell off causing serious injuries).

Even though I also am not in favor of that look you gotta give em props for the job. It is all about whatever you are into as long as you are paying. I personally draw the line w/ animals and dead people, everything else is wide open for interpretation.
