Where to get 2002 ML320 Used parts online??
I admit I am new here... and searched the threads.... and at the risk of sounding like a Newb....I have to just put my question out there.
I need 3 things. I have searched but can't come up with a place that has used parts. Specifically I need:
1) The grille thing, not the one by the Mercedes emblem the one below inside the bumper. It starting breaking and its making me nuts.
2) The plastic cover shell thingy that covers the engine (the mechanic cracked mine)
3) This probably should have been first on my list, but the channel locks or whatever you call them for the passenger side and behind the passenger. (I heard this is common and could cost up to $360 per lock to fix. Is it hard to do yourself?)
Be kind guys, I am just a girl... trying to fix a couple small things on this car
Thanks

First place to look is eBay. I saw the lower grille pieces advertised by at least three vendors yesterday. I suspect the other parts could be found there also. And, check the on-line listings of dismantlers. They may not list the specific part you want, but if they have a compatible vehicle there's a fair chance they'll have your part.

1. Engine cover-they usually crack at the passenger side rear. You don't say how bad it is cracked, but CrazyGlue will do the trick. Cost at the dealer is $260 and there are two choices depending on your engine # and the other on your vin #. Supply your full vin # and I will supply you with the pertinent info on your vehicle.
2. Bumper Grille-correct part depends on what type of bumper you have; plain Jane or Styling package. Vin # needed.
3. Channel lock-have no idea what you are referring to. Post a photo of what it is.

Thanks.... sorry I forgot to mention let me see if I can describe it. Between the front seats there is a console, that has a door that lifts up and down to store stuff. Just infront of it, is another compartment in front of it with a little sliding door that that looks like a accordion like thing..... someone cracked it by forcing it..off.... can I buy that one piece? And what is it called?

I took a quick look at my console over the lunch hour. It looks as if you would need to remove the felt-lined console storage bin to access where the wooden strips roll into when the door is open. It may also require removing the wooden console top panel. All in all, not too difficult a job, but take it slowly and methodically.

ok I am happy to report that I ordered this part, recvd it and replaced it all by my self! Hey... thats pretty good for a girl who knows nothing about car fixin'! That broken piece was driving me nuts all winter. One eyesore down, two more to go! Thanks
