Starmark warrenty wont cover my....
, any ideas
, can I 5150 it, should they cover it
, can I buy after market
, should I stalk my service manager untill he gives
P.S. I love these smiley things
Either way, it might be too cheap to start Starmark for it... I'd "keep" it for more serious stuff..
i would keep talking to your service manager untill he gives in...ask him for a RFR. it is a common repair....they should cover it
Isnt' that thing pretty cheap? Mine was replaced, but I don't think it was under Starmark.

200 dollars, can you believe it for a water bottle
And samme question to you too Radmir, what do you mean by "Either way, it might be too cheap to start Starmark for it... " what do you mean by start?
Thankls guys....
the washer bottle is $95 we charge 1.5HR of labor to install but it is very easy and I am sure you can do it yourself
Normally, it's valid for one year -- but from when? The answer - from your first request for repair to be done under that warranty... so in essence, you control when the warranty starts.. and once you start it.. it'll last for one year..
I wouldn't start it on something like this (though 200 sounds a bit much for something like that..). ML God has some good suggestions around that.

Please help me out by showing me where you found out that the warranty begins with your first request for repair . I was also told that, but when I went to take my C43 in today, the dealer told me it had expired back in Feb 2004 (when I purchased the car and the warranty) and not in July 2004 as I expected it to since I made my first claim in July 2003. I want to prove them wrong and get my work covered.
And if it is turely expired who should i purchase aftermarket warranty from?
Anyway no word about it "starting" when you first request it. It would make not sense either as I have never heard of any warrenty on any product that works like that.
PS.. I'm sure I read it in the booklet, and that was the same thing the dealer said.
PPS.. as far as I'm concerned, it's written somewhat vague.. not sure why.. leaves it for "interpretation" by the dealer?

For Vehicles with Existing New Vehicle Limited Warrenty**
The starmark Pre-Owned Limited Warranty will begin on the first to occur of 48 months from the new vehicle warrenty start date or when the vehicle reaches 50,000 total accumulated miles. If the vehicle reaches 50,000 total accumulated miles prior to the expiration of 48 months from the New vehicle Warranty start date, the Starmark Pre-Owned Limited Warranty will begin on the date of the first Starmark Limited Warrenty repair and ends 12 months from this date or when the vehicle reaches 100,000 total accumulated miles, whichever comes first.
** See New Vehicle Service
and warranty booklet for terms of New Vehicle Limited warranty.
Dealer explained to me that becuase the original warranty had expired then the Starmark purchased, the expiration date would be 12 months from purchase.
I haven't look in the phamplet yet but will today and do some final investigation before letting it go.
