Report on the temperature readings. Please see video below. Sorry for bad lighting and hand coordination.

This video show the temp gauge over 90c but not to 100c at Idle cause outside temp is cold . If in hot summer, temp gauge should read 100c easily.

Can you also comment on axle video below see if this axle is bad. It has clicking sound but stiff.

Thanks

Hi Maj. Dundee,

i know I've been given you links that doesn't work. Im a little disappointed and finally looking thru the forum
i notice people use YouTube. I've uploaded the videos to YouTube above. Hoping you can give me some advice.

On the other hand, I've connected 12V from the battery directly to the auxiliary fans connector and both fan started to run really fast.
I'd tried measuring voltage from the connector from the car supplying the power and I get nothing. I thought it suppose to give me 12v, no? If not,
is there a switch somewhere that should tell system to send power to the fan once the engine reach a certain temperature?

Ive also check the terminals where relay K26 (relay itself is ok)resides and it has 12V. The 40Amp fuse is good as well. Not sure why the connector
has two green and two brown wires? I tried measuring the voltage across all 4 pins with common connected to gnd and get nothing. When I do contintuity check the greens and brown wires are open but are shorted within themselves.

Please help, im open for ideas. Thank you

What brand scanner did you buy and did it arrive yet?

Chris, I have already explained when the aux. fans will come on. If it doesn't reach that temp, THEY WILL NOT COME ON.

Why did you replace the Coolant Circulation Pump?

I bought icarsoftl980. Yes, I have received it. Please let me know what I should be looking for when scanning!

I've changed the coolant circulation pump because it wasn't working. This was done over a year. It has a leak.
thanks

I don't know the capabilities of that scanner but if it doesn't read every module in your truck, it is a waste of money. In your case the scanner must be able to read the AAC control module.

Thanks for the quick response. I will switch for a different brand as the one I got doesn't support AAC. It wasn't able to read ECU. Do you have any recommendations. Please post a few that are within my reach and hopefully get the codes for my car.

thanks

Maj, Dundee,

Finally got some time to upload the picture that i scan the codes with the new scanner you recommended me to purchase. I have so many. Sorry if i posted to many images as i need help with them all. I will edit and delete these post later once we clear them up or let me know which i can delete that you think you don't need.
I like to tackle the aac first as this was the topic that we discuss about. Thank you for your help.

Chris, there are too many codes that you have STORED and they are codes which happened at one time but were never deleted.

Follow the instruction in the manual to delete all codes in all modules. After deleting all codes, turn ign. off for 15 secs. Then turn ign. to the on position and read codes.

Then take a short drive and check for codes again.

If the code/s for the Steering Angle Sensor return, put it into PARK while the eng. is running and center the steering wheel. Turn the steering wheel all the way to one side and the all the way to the other side and then re-center the steering wheel and check to see if the SAS code was deleted.

Also, only post codes and do not post any other results. For the A/C problem, you must scan the AAC Module Separately which will reveal "B" codes.

Ok, I'll read the manual later today and try to clear all the codes and re-read the codes after performing steering angle sensor. Will post new codes only. Thank You

Clear all codes and took it for a couple min spin. While driving I re-scan and surprisingly only 1 code remain. Not sure where all the other codes came from. Hopefully it doesn't come back after I take the car for re-align this weekend as i change the rear ball joints on both sides.

Anyways, the code is AAC-Automatic Air Conditioning ----B1204 M2/8 (Defroster flap positioning motor) Stored & Current.
Also, when i first start the car it seems air is blowing out the vents for about 10-15 seconds and then it stop. Is this normal, as it been going for awhile now and not sure how long it has been acting like this? I didn't expect any air to blow just starting the car as i haven't turn anything on.

Thanks for all the help.

Remove the panel under the instrument panel, look up to the right and pull the Trans. Control Module out of its bracket. Do not disconnect the harness from the module.

Then remove the bracket and the Defroster Actuator Motor will be revealed. Operate the defroster and see if the motor and its two levers operate correctly or if either of the levers are broken.

Post your full vin# for the correct part number.

Hi Maj Dundee,

Is this the correct P/N 163-83-001-33? Please confirm and I will purchase it from the link below.
Lastly, when I pull the actuator apart I only see 2 lever that are on the right of the attach link without the rod and the left lever.
Unless I got the wrong P/N. thanks

Does the motor move when you select defrost?

I have no idea what the highlighted question above means.

Here are the correct part numbers you might need.

This pic is the broken lever. Please show pic of how I would re-install.

This is the pic with the other leg suspended.
I was wondering if there is a correct way to install this as I don't want to break the new lever. Here is another pic of what's it's like with the other lever hanging.

Also, can someone hint me how to remove the connector with lots of harness connected to it. I can't seem to remove it.

Are you referring to the harness of the Trans. Module? If it is, yes you can but it must be done with the key out out of the ign.

Or are you referring to the harness of the Defroster motor?

Please be specific.

Sorry it took so long. The attached image harness. Thanks again!

Update I was able to install the part without removing this harness that was on the way. Just need patience and time.
Defrost work normally again after install.
