Brought this 55 back to life
2001 55AMG with 60K miles on it, still work in progress but already driving and enjoying it already. Still a lot of work needs done and need to paint it, planning to do it next spring.
Everything was done by me, Leather interior, caliper work , the only thing i didnt do was pulling the frame.

Very nice. Are there big gaps between the hood and the 2 fenders? 
I didn't realized there's one until I put everything back together. Now I'm trying to figure out how to correct for it.

On these ML cars gabs are little bigger then most newer cars, but if yours are really big, to adjust that loosen the screws on top of the fenders and adjust to what you need and tighten the screws.
Yours dont look bad, i think when you fix your hood you should be ok.

I also have a 55 and thinking to replace the front lights, which ones did you go for? Looks great! I have the stock 55 xenon lights, so wanted to make sure whatever i get is compatible with existing connections etc. Secondly, which door handles did you get? also looks great!

Door handles i took of my Parts ML i had for parts, i just swapped them up. i think with chrome they look much better
