ml500 key transmitter doesnt work again

ml500 key transmitter doesnt work again
has any one had any problems with the key tranmitter not functionning? this will be my 2nd time bringing in the ml for a key swap reguarding the same problem,,both my keys remote cant lock/un lock truck.i have to use the key to lock/un lock the truck manuelly.

i bring it back under warranty,, but i am afraid of what they will charge when my warranty runs out..it seems like it happens alot because at my mass dealership it has a sign saying that , mercedez will need all the keys for the car, if you are there for a remote problem.

I misread your post I think. Is you liftgate the only thing that will not unlock? Also if you take it to the dealer and they have to replace the AAM or EAM then they will need both keys to reteach them, and if they install a new FBM then you will get new keys and a door lock. If only your liftgate wont open then it is probably a switch or servo in the Liftgate itself. Autogunner.

what do you mean set amount of keys available? dont they make keys going off the vin#?they ask everyone that has this problem to bring in all keys for the car. the car is still driveable but the keyless feature doesnt work on any of the keys for the truck,
