In limp mode. Obd scanner showing code P0705 and P0105.

I recently purchased a 2001 Ml 320. Days after buying it almost all dash lights lit up, abs, esp, cel, srs. After checking codes with obd scanner I replaced manifold absolute pressure sensor and replaced shifter and checked tcm for fluid in passenger side floorboard (was none). Wiring all looks okay. Still in limp mode. Going to change O ring today and clean mas to check all the bases. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Time to change the battery? If it's over 3-4 years old, it's an easy change and might be the root cause.

This problem has nothing to do with a battery.

For code P0105, simply delete the code in the ECM.

For code P0705 you must delete the codes in the ECM & the ETC Trans. Module. If your code reader is unable to read codes in the ETC, it will always remain in in Limp Mode.

Hello,
I have a similar issue C240 and I am getting P0705? I replaced the conductor plate, but still the same issue!!
How do you delete the code? is that what is causing it?
Thanks

You must delete the code with your own scanner or someone else's scanner. After that, the selector range sensor must be coded.

Thank you for your input. This does apply to C240 2002 as well right? I do not have such a scanner to perform that task, so I have to take it to a repair show.
In some videos, they stated that there is no need to reprogram! Thank you again for the reply

Please update your profile to include the year and model, is it gas, CDI or Blue and the country you live in.
